(Hartford, OH)…Sharon Speedway will have another open practice this Wednesday, August 29. Gates open at 4 with practice 5 until dark. Pit passes are $20; grandstand admission is free. All cars are welcome.
With fall just around the corner, several special events for the Open Stock Cars are on tap. The Open Stocks will be part of the two-day “Apple Festival Nationals” on Friday and Saturday, September 14-15 as well as Saturday, October 6. Each successive event will have more money on the line with $500 to-win on September 14, $1,000 to-win on the 15th, and $1,500 to-win on October 6. Also, the September 14 event will include the May 27 make-up feature.

Coming up this Saturday (September 1) is the Russ King Memorial featuring the Governor Insurance DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds in a BRP Tour-sanctioned event. Also racing will be the Summit Racing Equipment E-Mods, Gibson Insurance Agency Stock Cars, HTMA/Precise Racing Products Econo Mods, and the Deforest Used Parts Mini Stocks. Race time is 7 p.m.
