The Diehl Mods portion of the program will also be the BRP Modified Tour finale and the 20th running of the Kodiak Memorial. FASTRAK Northeast (Crate) Late Models, UMP/UEMS (EMod) Modifieds, 305 Sprints, 4 Cylinders and Mod Lites will also be in competition all weekend. The UMP Modifieds will race under UEMS sanctioning for the weekend. In addition to the nine divisions that will take to the track all three nights of the Steel City Stampede, the Enduros will bring the racing action to a close on Saturday Night with another $1000-to-win, 100-lap rolling demolition derby.

2011 Steel City Stampede feature winners were Dale Blaney (Ti22 Sprints), John Garvin Jr. (Precise Lates), Chad Brachmann (Diehl/BRP Mods), Chris Schneider (Pic-A-Part Sportsman/Stock), Dave Hess Jr. (UMP/UEMS Mods), Butch Lambert (Pro Lates), Jeff Tetters (Mod Lites), Adam Pletcher (4 Cyl.) and Chris Potochnak (Enduro).

Why: 410 Sprints, Super Late Models and Big Block Modifieds will be racing for $3000-to-win; FASTRAK Northeast (Pro) Late Models will be racing for $2,000-to-win; Sportsman/Stocks, UMP/UEMS Modifieds and Enduros will be racing for $1000-to-win; while the 305 Sprints, 4-Cylinders and Mod Lites will be racing for $500-to-win.

In addition to the increased payouts, the feature winners will also be crowned as the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede Champions.

And finally, to get one last weekend of racing in before the Action Track goes dark for the season!

Where to Stay: Camping is FREE! In a change from last year, all camping is first come, first serve and free of charge. Unfortunately, there are no electric/water hookups available for camping at Lernerville Speedway.

The Days Inn in Butler, PA is the top recommendation for travelers planning to stay at a hotel. The Days Inn in Butler is located 10 miles from the speedway on Route 8 just south of Butler. The Days Inn has an indoor pool, on-site restaurant & lounge and is in close proximity to a handful of restaurants including McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Burger King. Other nearby towns with hotels include (arranged in order of proximity) Butler, Kittanning, New Kensington, Cranberry Twp. and Harmar Twp. Of those locations, while a little but further away, The Days Inn in Harmar Twp. probably provides the second best option to Butler as it is a short, easy trip down Routes 356 & 28 and the area is loaded with restaurants, hotels and retail options.

How to get involved: The DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede is more than a three-day show; it’s also a total fan experience. The Round Up Tent will be open each night after the on track action has come to a close with music to help you unwind and maybe even rub elbows with your favorite driver(s)!

In Closing:
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in this exciting three-day show at Lernerville Speedway! The DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede will be the last chance in 2012 to see our Fab Four Racing divisions, plus five other divisions and another 100-lap Enduro on Saturday Night. Does Lernerville have the registration form on there site to print it out or is it only at the track? I didnt see it on there site. Would be nice to have it filled out at home, one less thing to worry about at the track. Thanks

I don't think the rain is supposed to come in until late Saturday. What are the chances of bumping up the start time an hour or two to try and beat the rain?

I hope your right but i looked at 3 national sites for weather and they are 40% to 60% chance sat-sun. I got (2) 2013 pit vouchers allready, dont need a 3rd one like many other teams have im sure.

I would really like to know if there is a raindate before I purchase Saturdays ticket, simple question, there is ten other press releases why cant this be answered? And the forecast looks worse than just late saturday showers, I hope they get it in, but its not promising.

They need to bite the bullet and answer that raindate question, because I've been watching the weather like a hawk, and there are two chances of getting this show done this weekend. Slim and none, and slim died. They need to go to heats Thursday and features Friday, or they're gonna have to put the features off a couple weeks since WRG has the WOO Finals in Charlotte next week.

LWM, Sunday's gonna get rained out too. They gotta announce a backup raindate now in case they need it, and they will certainly need it.

You can't just switch dates of the race the day before it!!

AND they're is another option, run the features mid March of 2013.... Its been done before when everything but the features are run!

At the very least they need to run the b-mains Friday night as well as the heats, so they have that much less to run if a rain delay or rainout is needed.

This tidbit from the resident pessismist that always says, "They'll never get this in!" Stay on the weirdo side of the bridge and rake some leaves while we true race fans enjoy one last weekend of racing!

If you could predict the weather as well as you scarf down action track snacks then maybe we'll pay attention to you.

Talked to a track official last night and the raindate is Sunday and they'll do everything in their power to get the show in. and judging by the job they did during the Commonwealth Clash, you gotta take it as the gospel. It's only a chance of rain both days, relax and enjoy the weekend! Tonight and tomorrow should be beautiful. Saturday or Sunday will be colder and might be wetter, but they'll get the show in. It would be kinda cool to run the Enduro in a light rain, now that would be entertaining!
