Four Divisions, Two Nights, One Goal!

Sarver, PA (August 13, 2014) A year’s worth of blood, sweat and tears will come down to just two nights of Fab Four Racing!  Four drivers have a firm grip on their respective divisions’ points lead, but anything can happen.  Brandon Matus kept his title aspirations alive with his second Peoples TWP Sprint feature win of the season last Friday Night.  Despite the win, Matus still trails Budweiser Points leader Carl Bowser by a full night’s worth of points (40).

Alex Ferree carries the biggest lead (69 points) into the final two weeks.  So short of disaster or a two week siesta to Cancun, “The A-Train” will be back at the head table at next year’s banquet for the fifth time in his career; joining the rarified air of Bob Wearing Sr., Lynn Geisler and John Flinner with five Late Model Track Championships.

Rex King Jr. and Jim Fosnaught each maintain a 28-point lead heading into Friday Night.  Rex King Sr. and Rob Shook need to make up some serious ground, while Brian Swartzlander and Corey McPherson need to gain at least eight and seven points respectively to stay in the hunt going into Championship Night!

This Friday is Turner Dairy Night!  Dozens of Turners employees will be on hand for a pre-race hospitality event and the TeaBird will be on hand at the front gate with samples and then pace all four features with Turners employees riding along!  Finally, four lucky fans will leave from Lernerville on Friday Night with a case of Turner’s Premium Iced Tea!

Everything will draw to a close next Friday, August 22 on Fab Four Racing Championship Night.  Once the Champions are crowned, we’ll wrap up August with one last Fast Friday.  On Friday, August 29, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series return to the Action Track for the Working Man 50 which will consist of a full World of Outlaw Late Model Series program and the make-up of the Uncle Sam 30 that was postponed by rain on Firecracker weekend!
