Sarver, PA (October 10, 2017)  One last weekend brings the 2017 schedule to a close, and brings together the drivers and fans for one last time to savor the racing as the ninth annual Steel City Stampede/DIRTcar Roundup graces the clay at The Action Track.  It's a weekend full of racing, camaraderie, and great memories as eight divisions of racing flesh out three days of activity at the track. There'll be camping, a concert and much more to enjoy as we finish the year with a bang!

On The Track

So what will be racing this weekend? A better question might be what isn't? There will be nine divisions of cars plus a 100 lap Enduro which traditionally ends the weekend's festivities. All divisions will be racing with more money on the line than a regular weekly program, and expect to see plenty of drivers not normally found on a Fab Four Friday Night. What's more, the weekend is also highlighted by divisions that don't get many opportunities to race at Lernerville.

The weekend also brings to a close the touring series portions of the schedules for the RUSH Late Models and RUSH Sportsman Modifieds.  In the RUSH Late Models, Bryce Davis leads John Waters by 14 points while in the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, Kyle Martell holds a 27 point advantage over second running Kole Holden.

Here's what we have in store for you this weekend: (Qualifying Heats Friday; BMains and Features on Saturday)

Not sure why no one would answer my questions here or on Twitter but just to let the Open stock guys know the rules for the Stampede are open motors must weigh 3100# and it's open Hoosier (not open tire) for all drivers. Weekly Lernerville rules. The FAQ still call open rules/open tires which it is not. I spoke directly to Mr Tomson to clarify. Thanks.

Might as well run them separate like they did in September. Why not they run everything else. Penn-Ohio rules, and Rush/Lernerville rules.

I've already asked them to clarify their release today. Tim told me open Hoosier directly from his mouth.

Tim just messaged me back and said he talked to his brothers and it is now open tire rule. Thanks.
