PACE PERFORMANCE GM 602 CRATE ENGINES FOR SPRINTS ALSO AVAILABLE THROUGH RUSH'S AUTHORIZED ENGINE REBUILDERS

(Pulaski, PA)...Series Officials continue to work on a daily basis to grow and create additional exciting and valuable programs around the new Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Sprint Car Series powered by Pace Performance.  The announcement that Lernerville Speedway will be anchoring the division with 10 events in 2018 was a huge boast to the Series and additional dates are being finalized that should see the schedule consist of approximately 24 Bonnell's Rod Shop events.  As drivers continue to prep for 2018, RUSH and Pace Performance/Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC would like to remind everyone that the required RUSH sealed GM 602 crate engines can be purchased through RUSH's Authorized Engine Rebuilders network.

 

The RUSH Authorized Engine Rebuilder network includes 955 Automotive (Erie, PA), Brougher's Machine Shop (Pittsburgh, PA), CRE Engine (Morrisdale, PA), C.Smith Machineshop (Wooler, ON), C.J. Rombold Engine Builders (Beaver Falls, PA), Cams Racing Engines (White Marsh, VA), Cresap Automotive Machine (Cumberland, MD), Donath Motor Worx (Syracuse, NY), Empson Automotive (Knoxville, PA), Hendren Racing Engines (Rutherfordton, NC), Ingram Engines (Kittanning, PA), John Saunders Racing (Watford, ON), Jennerstown Engine Technologies (Jennerstown, PA), Luke's Auto Machine (Port Robinson, ON), Marty Brown Race Engines (Glen Burnie, MD), Race 1 (Poland, OH), Workman Automotive Machine (Quinte West, ON).  The complete list with contact info can be found under the Engine tab on the website or directly at the following link www.rushsprintcars.com/engines.html.

 

Of course the GM 602 Sprint Car engine can be purchased directly at Pace Performance in Boardman, Ohio by calling 888-748-4655.  Don Blackshear, a former RUSH Authorized Engine Rebuilder, is the director of Circle Track Operations at Pace. 

 

The base pricing on the Pace GMP-19258602--SPD Sprint Car engine is $5,179 and includes the following:

·         GM 602 engine with low profile oil pan upgrade

·         Rear cam drive installed

·         Balance hub and yoke assembly

·         Throttle linkage kit

·         RUSH seals installed

 

The GMP-19258602-SPDX Sprint Car base engine dressed package is $7,850 and includes the following:

·         Base engine package with RUSH/MSD rev limiter

·         Aluminum water pump

·         Pulley kit

·         Carburetor with stud kit

·         Fuel regulator with fittings and lines to carburetor

·         Air filter kit

·         Block-off plate with water fittings

·         Distributor advance lockout plate

·         Spark plugs with wires

·         Schoenfeld spec headers

·         Race prep with break-in oil and filter

There has been just so much friggin interest and excitement for this series that Steve Kinser is coming out of retirement to give Bigfoot some competition

Horsecrap. I don't believe for one minute your 1 to 23 cars scale of pay out. So if 8 cars so and a guy makes 1 lap he gets 8th place money ?
