$5,000 to win Damn Yankees 50 up next for FASTRAK - Any crate spec tire
The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will head to the “Beast of the East”, Richmond Raceway on September 29th for the 1st Annual Damn Yankees 50, paying $5,000 to win and $300 to start. FASTRAK has announced that any crate spec tire will be permitted in the race and grooving and siping will be allowed on all tires. This will be a non-points race for the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance. It will also mark the first visit to the state of Kentucky for the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance. An open practice is scheduled for September 28th.
Drivers will hit the 3/10 mile track located in Richmond, Kentucky for their share of over $17,000 in total purse money for the 50 lap feature. The 1st Annual Damn Yankees 50 will be the highest paying Pro Late Model race in the state of Kentucky for 2018.
Although it is a non-points race it will count as two races towards the minimum of seven for FASTRAK members to qualify for the FASTRAK World Challenge. The FASTRAK World Challenge and World Championship has been moved to October 5th and 6th due to Hurricane Florence. Drivers have until September 28th to pre-enter for the FASTRAK World Championship Weekend and save up to $95 on entry fees.
