HOMAK PENN OHIO PRO STOCKS WITH BACK-TO-BACK EVENTS COMING UP THIS WEEKEND - FRIDAY AT THUNDER MOUNTAIN & SATURDAY, AT PPMS!

For Immediate Release

September 18, 2018 (Sandy Lake, PA) As a result of Mother Nature's unkindness to dirt track racing, the Homak Penn Ohio Series was forced to reschedule events on more than one occasion this season.

This upcoming weekend the Series will have back-to-back make-up races.  Friday, September 21st, Thunder Mountain Speedway in Brookville, PA will host the Series' in the $1,500 to-win, $200 to-start Scott Winslow Memorial event, with a B Feature paying $500 to-win if over 35 pro stocks participate.  The Series will then travel to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, PA for the make-up Wee Willie White Memorial paying $1,000 to-win, $150 to-start, with a $250 to-win B Feature if over 35 pro stocks.

Participating drivers will have a $35 registration fee on Friday at Thunder Mountain and a $25 registration fee on Saturday at PPMS.  Both events are point races for the Homak Penn Ohio Series members.  All drivers will be eligible for a Hoosier tire donated by Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic/Precise Racing and an American Racer tire donated by Lias Tire.  2018 Homak Penn Ohio Series’ registered members will be eligible for additional contingency prizes donated by various Homak Penn Ohio sponsors including a case of racing oil donated by Les Frickshun, a Homak hand carry tool bag, racing products donated by Precise Racing and Dirt Defender LLC, gift certificates donated by ARbodies, Genesis Shocks, Close Racing Products, Wedge Motorsports, Big Daddy’s Speed Center, ADMAX, and Aero Wheels.  Thunder Mountain will have a fastest qualifier award donated by Jacob's Towing and a hard charger award donated by Bish Heating and Cooling.

This weekend's Memorial events will provide must-see racing as the point chase heats ups between Chris Schneider, Andrew Gordon, Bobby Whitling and Rob Shook.  Currently, three-time point champion, Schneider has 2 wins on the season and sits 7 points in front of Gordon, who visited the Homak Penn Ohio Series victory lane 4 times this season.  2017 point champion is third with one season win, while Shook's consistent runs keeps him in the mix with both in striking distance of the top two.
