The 1C hasnt been a relevant super late team since Lynns last MACS title. If we're counting on that car to round into form and prevent Norris from lapping the field each and every week just so we can say the division isnt dead, were going to be waiting awhile. I mean no slight on Mike Pegher, hes a talented driver, but I think the Cochran/Giesler program has seen better days.

Do you seriously think they will get 20 plus every friday night with the RUSH tour races being held at other tracks. Just because ppms gets 15-20 of them, doesn't mean those guys are willing to travel and race 2 nights a week now. Most of them are hit and miss.

I agree. It's also not like they'll pull many cars, if any from the north either.

The Cochran/ Geisler program has seen better days?  .... Ya about 30 years of days !! the Patriarch and Family  have two sons/ nephews etc  and grandchildren in Charlotte and one of them is a Nascar Champion and chief of racing operations ( something like that )  for Penske Racing .

Peghers are generations of racers and Mike is a hell of a driver . I don't know anything about their " Motor problems" but if he felt like it Geisler could put a motor together that Norris could only dream about ... but we will see if he feels like it down the road..

But Super late models are a staple of Lernerville and Pittsburgh for that matter and WILL be back ! They were taken away to foreign shores in the tide like Americas money on boats Captained by the Clintons / the Bushes and a Big Eared Communist from Africa over a 20 year period ! it wont change over night .. but its already happening .. The Claimer Latemodels are a patch and would have been the norm ( Socialist racing ) but the Sodomites are on the cliff holding on by their fingernails and all hope on a drugged up Professor from California this week! .

Sarver had 18 Claimer stocks at the beginning of the year and have not gained more and lost a couple while Super Lates went the other direction or stayed at their dismall car count that has been the trend of America in a death spiral for the last decade !

MONEY will bring the Latemodels back ... and MONEY is what America is getting back in  Boatloads !  .

Hobby stocks at Pittsburgh were like 4 or 5 for the last 5 / 6 years .. now their is 14 !

the Guns the Zarins the Weldons the Schneiders etc are the wave of the future .. not john flinner and Steve baker coming back ..A vote for the Trump Agenda will do more for Racing than anything else a simple person can do .

And the Blair Haters are as funny as the  trump Haters .. they call Blair fans stupid while Blair keeps winning and Winning and WINNING!

Can you ever make a post that isn't full of politcal bs? This is a racing board, not politics.

Davey Lee. Your political rants are your opinion. But, calling the past president of this country your cartoonist statement is enough. RESPECT the position of president of the greatest country out there. In small business, which was destroyed by the democratic party for 8 years, drove myself and many others into early retirement. Nobody wants the position of president, that is why the 2 choices we had last election was a disgrace. What next billionaire will buy there way into the office.

i think davy is right on. i told my brother earlier this year, look at all the new cars, better looking cars, and more competitive cars on the track. i called it the trump effect. yes, some places didn't see that growth, but up north did. i think max had one super late feature win up there.compotition was the best i've seen it. jo73,if you think trump hasn't helped our economy, your smoking a big fat one. so politics is important for racing...........nov 6th you all better get on the red wave or back to welfare racing, and less pay in your checks.

94.3   30 crates would be nice, but I don"t think that will happen. IF Lernerville goes to crates they may get 18 t0 22 cars which is not bad at all and will have good racing. But as stated in other posts Late Models have been at Lernerville a long time and they do have a following. What ever direction Lernerville goes I hope the racers and fans support it!   GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Let me restate this... if Lernerville is contractually obligated to have the tire rule and they can NOT drop it, what makes you think they will be allowed to drop supers? Bayko I feel your statement could not be more accurate.

Actually, the less cars, the less made on pit admissions, but you still pay out the top $ of the purse. 10 back is usually a pretty light  $.

I only attend touring events and specials anymore, so I wont attend anyway but of the two divisions of completely identical looking cars, one would get you a minimum of 18 to 20 cars with an estimated 12 of those cars being capable of winning. The payout for this field is also less. The other gets you 9 or 10 cars, with 1 of those cars completely making the rest of the division his bitch with the other 8 or 9 regulars lucky to be able to finish on the same lap as this 1 car. Fans know going into the evening who is going to win this divisions race, and thus may not even feel the need to attend.

I dont follow Rush, so I have no dog in the fight, but its completely obvious which is the better situation. No sense in fighting the future.

Didn't Bob Wearing, Sr. win about every night at Lernerville during a certain stretch back in the day???  These dominate car scenarios at certain tracks come & go, and last various lengths of time...  I wouldn't give up on the class just because one person happens to be dominating right now...

I remember the 60 crate car at ppms last year was unbeatable. This year he barely won more than what 2 races? If he even finished? Each year things can change when others step up their program.

It was Dunk's number 1. I thought it was 13 races but either way he was certainly the dominate car.
