Ppms track crew nailed it. Watching Bobby ride the outside roll that moisture was coming through was definitely worth the 90 minutes away and start time. A lot of unruly fans aren't too happy about it.

The unruly fans are morons. What was the alternative to not waiting until the water stopped running down the track? Make them race through splashing water?

And lets be clear. Lucas would not put their drivers on the track with said water coming down it. So what do people expect? Blame God?

A fast track is not harder on equipment.  It makes it easier for a driver to abuse their equipment.

Higher DNF's when a track is fast is because of error and lack of experience both on and off the track.  The normal expected drop in rpm's on the track should be less as track grip increases especially in a Super Late.  It's a matter of torque verses hp rpm.  Applied torque is what kills engines not your ability to use your engine at it's designed rpm limits, because the track offers you the ability to apply hp.

Applied higher car rotational forces because of increased speed and an increased sense of security by drivers both experienced and less experienced is what kill chassis when track grip increases.  :)

Maintain thy momentum less the wall come down and smite thee.

Why so many DNF's in all divisions it app

Where are all the people at they complain about heavy, tacky, fast tracks at?? That’s their reason why so many cars break and get DNF’s? That track was slick and smooth and STILL well over half the field didn’t make the race!
