this is not exactly a racing topic but it has an effect on us all and can possibly be one reason why are younger generations are not continuing in the sport that we all enjoy

I become frustrated with witnessing our kids spending so much time on their phones 

a friend of mine sent me this video and it really has some strong points about the younger generation and actually us as well

I have watched the video several times and everytime--I get a little something from it

 

I continually invent things for my kids to do so they have to talk to people and they have to use their hands

admittedly---they are on their phones way too much but i am trying to get them to understand more than just -- "google it"

how about figure it out

 

truthfully all of us old farts are falling into the same situation---

 

it's sad and the only thing I know to help --is to be aware of it and work towards communication
