Michael Bland off to early lead in FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship

Carnesville, GA – Pineville, WV’s Michael Bland currently leads the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship standings, doing so with the AFCO Crate Spec Shocks. By way of three top five finishes in nine races so far in 2019, Bland has a 61-point lead over second place, Nick Schlager. Schalger has been running strong at Toccoa Raceway, while also making stops with the FASTRAK Racing Series. Schlager collected three top five finishes at Friendship Motor Speedway over Memorial Day weekend.

Carson Ferguson, with one win among five top five finishes in 2019, is currently third. Ferguson also leads the FASTRAK Future Stars Cup, which goes to the top points finisher under 20 years of age. Appomattox, VA’s Corey Almond is fourth in points. Almond picked up a win at Virginia Motor Speedway, topping a field of 28 FASTRAK Pro Late Models on April 27th, along with three top five finishes.

Rounding out the top five in points is Donnie Dotson, also on the AFCO Crate Spec Shocks. Dotson has had strong showings at Tyler County Speedway and Elkins Raceway in 2019. He has collected one win along with a top five finishes in all his races this season. With two wins so far in 2019, Kyle Thomas is in sixth. Steve Blackburn, with three wins at Friendship Motor Speedway is seventh. Troy Fraizer, who picked up a win at Tyler County Speedway on May 18th is currently eighth. Wayne Quisenberry has two top five finishes and is in ninth. Raymond Brown rounds out the top ten in FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship competition.
