The flagman is not allowed to throw a yellow unless the rest of the field has gone a 1/4 lap or at least 8 cars have almost hit a disabled car.

The two most dangerous things racing at Sharon are the Wall/now rain barrels and the carnage which has occured there over the years because of late or no yellows being thrown.  Why have two flagman up top if when the second flagman sees something and taps the flagger the yellow is not thrown until the flagger turns, looks, thinks about it, thinks some more and then throws a yellow?  Either you trust the second flagman and throw a yellow per their prodding or you don't and if you don't then why have a second person on the stand?  Did the Allstars send a camera man to the flag stand to help protect their racers?  Total bullshit cars spin off the track or crawl to a stop along the wall and no flag until at least 8 near misses or a 1/4 to a 1/2 lap of travel by the rest of the field.  The Allstar 99 car and others in their races and the Modified racing got no help with yellows to protect the drivers.  The NORM at Sharon is you hear cars on the track slow and then and ONLY then after a pregnant pause do you see a yellow thrown.

Yea can't disagree with that. Tracks that throw the slow yellow can and have caused cars to get torn up. Down here at one of the tracks I've been to the guy in the flag stand turns around to the announcers stand and waits with yellow flag in hand until someone signals him to throw the yellow. Scary at best.
