Yeah lets wait to let in 100 or more haulers all in at the same time = the traffic mess Tri-City had.....all they got to do is like what Sharon does on big events...let them in and clear the pits at 3:45 of all people...it aint rocket science, just common sense...

Glad we went to Sharon....not a single caution for the heats or feature(stock cars)...and had 2X as many cars...beautiful track, car went in the hauler with a feature winner sticker and not one dent...

Safe travels to all who will be traveling to and from the track on this BEAUTIFUL and much ANTICIPATED day, and to V. Laboon and all those who chipped in to make this the PREMIER stockcar race around !!!!!! Good luck to all drivers...

Sharon stock cars are not going to go to Mercer...they had no stocks there at Sharon this Saturday(truck/tractor pulls) and none of them showed up at Mercer...anyone who is a real stock car racer will be down at PPMS...end of story....

Just think of the number of racestuders' that would go to PPMS if they were to advertise The Legend as being one of the featured racers....

So since your "favorites" are not coming, go support your local track like Raceway 7 and support your local drivers that put the blood sweat tears and most importantly the money into giving us something to watch every weekend....

I agree with most of these posts/comments: I am a race fan, not a concert fan or truck and tractor pull fan... IF I am going to spend my money, 1st its going to be in the pits to help out our team or 2nd if we are not scheduled to run car, it will be to spectate a dirt track race... I think I spend enough on those 2... now if it was girls mud wrestling or something very similar I might attend....hahaha.... BUT you got to give the tracks credit for trying to bring other options to those people who don't have the dirt in their blood... 

Must be on his Honeymoon... have not heard a peep from him in a while..... I miss his kind of humor.... JMO boring on here without his comments, wither ya like em or hate em... makes my slow week go by a little faster wondering what THE LEGEND is going to post... 

I think Sharon just "sold out" of tickets for this premiere event...lol

That's good for the 777, but come on, he is a local Big Block driver that's a decent driver....if one of those New York drivers came down they would put an ass whooping on him...I think we have a man crush going on.....

Does Frank know what channel the weather is on? I can understand Sharon calling it because they are still trying to get the new surface incorporated into the existing surface.....what is really Mercers excuse?  A small puddle in the pits..... 

I would say yes, but it might depend on what was agreed to between the sponsor and one being sponsored....I had a buddy of mine that built a car and had 4 or 5 sponsors (nothing major) that each gave him a few hundred dollars. He only raced 3 or 4 times before he had to call it quits and he gave all his sponsors their money back...I have another buddy who is building his son a car and has lined up a few sponsors that already committed to sponsoring his son but he will not take a dime from them until car is completely ready to race...

JMO but when a track calls it quits over 24 hours prior to start time, there is more involved then just wanting to race...I understand it is a business but come on man...it was colder down in Charlotte so don't use that excuse...
