dirtstudent2.....Assuming that Sharon is going to run 410 Sprints, then Mercer should go with the big block Modifieds!!   The thing to remember here is that there are not enough cars in either class for two tracks less than am hour apart to both run them on the same night!!  So one runs Sprints and the other runs Modifieds...the only way it is going to work!!!   And Mercer is too close in town to get away with racing on Sunday nights!!!   And also there are not enough Late Models based in that area for either one of them to consider running that class on a regular basis!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!

Walt

It's great the place will be back in action. Sadly, it won't be 410's as the headliner. My travels north in 2018 included lernerville and I was always saddened that mercer would be silent that trip north. I finally decided to head east for my Saturday night fix. 1 trip to the grove, Lance beat shatz that night, the place went crazy. 2 trips to port royal and 3 to lincoln, unfortunately finely convinced me, I may never see another show ar MRP. For me, it was always about the 410's, I wish the new operations team all the best. I believe they will get a following for the big block mods. Racing today is all about rising costs. Pay a purse were guys can believe it's worth it and they will come.

If sharon has gone to the dark side ? (rush sprints) Where does this leave the 410 guys for 2019 ???

DS2 I was past the track today and the sign going in by the pit entrance said they were excited  to be racing on Saturday nights in 2019.

Does anybody know what the Fastrak mods are , I assume they are similar to the rush 602's but I couldn't find anything on their website about them.

I think the are the same as the RUSH cars and the New York DIRTcar cars.  FASTRAK  is just trying to sneak back in the area through Mercer!!

GOOD RACING!!!

I was going to ask if Fastrack ever sanctioned Mods before? Also, I wonder if they will run the smaller tires Rush has run? Another question can teams run in both Fastrack and Rush or are they violating some rule?

Guess it all depends on me getting my SLM fix at Dog or Marion Ctr.,  but I won't have a problem driving to Mercer to watch The Kings and Co. race!!..Hope all the L'ville BB's support this track.

Rush does not accept a Fastrack Motor unless something has changed .

Yes, FASTRAK sanctioned crate Modifieds for a couple/few years at New Egypt NJ.

It would be nice if lernerville and Mercer could do a paid point fund between them for the bb

I live in Delaware, the Fastrack Mods were maybe a year or two at New Egypt. Once they dropped the Fastrack idea the class took off. I don't really have dog in the fight, just don't want to see guys tied to running one track. I know a lot of the guys down this way will run Rush at Potomac, Delaware and Georgetown, but then run Fastrack at Virginia Motor. Not sure if they have an entire different package to run the different sanction or if the mods will differ from the Late Models.
