Last year, they published it on 2/22. That would be this week. Be patient. We're trying hard to be.

I understand they are busy and have alot of work to do BUTTTTTT. I am sure the people at Limaland and and other surrounding tracks are busy and have alot of work to do. Yet still have a schedule and rules posted. We look forward to going to the local tracks and watch the races during the summer!

Lima has the Outlaw show to plan for and the All Star race and The King of the 1/4 mile. Eldora plans some of the biggest races in the country with just a few staff members and they already have a schedule out and selling advanced tickets. Not trying to sound like a jerk but it is about more than just the racers planning. Without the fans there would be no show, and the same can be said for the parts vendors.
Everyone above should have some idea of race dates by now, to get vacation time, decide what races they want to go see and to get sponsors lined up. Its pretty hard to go to a sponsor and say, well I think I will be racing X times this year, but I don't know when yet. Makes it pretty hard to show that sponsor that they will be getting their dollar's worth.

All the tracks around us have race dates posted, I dont think a schedule is a lot to ask for at this point!!
The All Stars have known their dates at WMP for some time now, why dont we?!!!!!!

What you dont get is eldora has some one working on things proably all year long, Lima has uno and people who are hired to work on this about all year. That is proably their job to do so. Waynesfield greg has a couple of full time jobs, and cub is proably busy with his job. This is a part time job for them in having waynesfield, it doesnt have the people that lima and eldora does to put more time into it. it will be out .

Thanks for clearing that up! I guess my wife and I owning and operating 2 businesses wouldnt qualify us to know anything about staffing and or scheduling with limited resources. Not to mention the full time jobs that we both have.

I understand your point, I just dont agree. It would not be that hard to post a schedule of dates as Lima did just to give us a general idea, I'm not asking for all the details. You would think they already have a general idea anyway, because they were able to confirm the 2 All Star dates.

While I'm at it I would like to know why this track is the only one I know of that will not give you a chance to change a flat tire in the A or B MAIN? I'm sure that it is simply because of time, but it needs to be talked over with the drivers and staff. Several drivers I know of would like to see this rule changed, they allowed the All Stars and the NRA to do it and managed to get the show in on time.

Dont get me wrong, Waynesfield is the coolest place to race in Ohio, we all just deserve a little better heads up to do some planning. After all it is a business and this business makes it's money getting fans in the stands and racers in the pits, there are a lot of other tracks out there trying for the same fans and racers, that have posted schedules. They understand its been a long winter and everyone is excited about getting outside and watching racing, but they also see that gas is over 3 dollors a gallon and these families will be planning in advance to squeak money out of a already stretched budget.

Myself I would rather be proactive than reactive! Just my opinion! Good luck to all the fans and racers this year and God Bless. Can't wait to go racin!!

It's now Feb. 26 @ 3:25 p.m. and still no Waynesfield schedule. Still being patient!!! (Like we have any other choice) Not trying to be a jerk, but some of us have made the decision to make WMP our weekly home track (because of fuel prices and etc.) and it would not be to much to ask to have a schedule available to show a possible sponsor. I have been on the phone the past few days with several other driver buddies that feel the same way and they also share my frustration.

Again it sure would be nice to have a schedule please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Challanger, I'm not trying to take one side or the other here but I was in that same position the last couple of years. I understand your points but I think it would be nice if you could understand a few of their issues at WMP also. 1. Greg wasn;t involved with the track last year and he's trying to arrange things again. 2. Not sure if he has the help of Cub or not this season but I woud guess that he will. 3. Someone had said that maiking the schedule should be easy because the All-Star dates have been announced.....well remember last year that was the case with the Late Models but they never raced at WMP. They were slated to run per another website but WMP never had them on their schedule. Wait for WMP's take on the schedule. 4. Greg was nice enough a LONG time ago to get on here and announce the classes that would be running....so at least you know there will be some dates for those classes. 5. I understand your point about running two businesses and working full time. Some people don't understand just how busy of a man Greg is........I would keel over if I had to work his schedule. I promise you that it's an intense schedule!! 6. Be thankful that WMP is even running this season. They could simply close shop for a few years but they have the dignity to open it for the racers. 7. One suggestion. last year I was in the same boat about presenting a schedule to sponsors...I suggest giving the sponsors some options of other track schedules in the area (unless you run trucks). If you're trying to land a sponsor i think it's better to let them know all of the schedules that you could possibly run. Then after landing the sponsor it's up to you to keep them informed as to where you are racing. I'm not trying to pick anyone out of the crowd here, I'm just saying that I assure you Greg is a man of his word and he does what he says he's going to do. You'll have a place to run at WMP now and I'm sure well into the future. WMP has always been the last track to post their scheule in the area and that's mainly due to cooperating with other tracks schedules and big events. Please just be patient and don;t post something that you'll regret later (trust me on that one) =)

Very thankful the track is running this year! If they werent we would just go run some other track. Its a great place to race and spectate, I like all the owners and workers, best in the state. Would also miss them if they chose not to race. But luckily they are racing, so lets get a schedule and go have some fun. I mean no disrespect to anyone, especially you OGRE or the track, just want to get our plans set so we can go racing.
I dont know about you but we are running out of bench racing stories and are in need to make some new ones.

Also I think it's great that the Karting track will be open this year. Way to go Greg!!!! That will make a lot of happy folks =)

Good sponsorships pending, which hurts the little guys. Remember when WMP used to listen to the little guys? It is time for them to publish a schedule.
