Just wanted to say thanks to the fine folks at Waynesfield Sprint Car Park. Looks like the stocks dont bring in enough cars or put on a good enough show to make the cut to race there. Its to bad that all of the stock cars who supported this place when they couldnt even get enough sprint cars to field a heat race will have to find another place to run on a saturday night. Its also kind of ridiculous when Greg, the one whos supposedly making all the decisions, posts on here all of the classes they will be running: "We are working on putting our schedule together for the '08 season. We will be racing trucks, mini sprints, stock cars, modifieds, non-wing sprints, with some wing shows. We will start our season the third week of April. Any questions may be directed to (419) 568-3201. Thank You. Greg" Would have been nice to know a few months ago instead of now 6 weeks until racing and have to change the game plan. Its nice to see that a place like that is such a class act. Not trying to offend anyone this is just my opinion. WMP is taking another step in becoming "Open Wheel Waynesfield". Good luck to all the racers and fans this season. Dave Hollon 21h Stock Car

I just had to change my post after you saying some one got a schedule at the swap meet. Greg said there would be some stocks. Guess things are getting a little confusing.

I think he,s jumping the gun, greg said there would be some stock cars, but with no schedule yet . we dont know how many times they will run. Greg is a very busy man, i think we just need to wait. I know its getting close but it will come.

I dont understand why they arent running stocks. They always had a good turnout when eldora wasnt running. It is a real bummer for us guys that go there whenever eldora isnt running. Especially in june and july when eldora slows down. Now where are we supposed to go? Not too happy about this decision and I'm sure other people arent either!

yes this puts the stock guys in a tight spot they will have to travel to race on sat.nite . with gas at $3.30 and diesel at $4.00 this will affect the amount some guys will be able to race this summer.

My race season is already cut short because of surgery. I really dont want to go to Limaland but I guess we dont have much of a choice. I really hope that Waynesfield rethinks there decision and takes into consideration all of us that supported them the past few years! Why ruin a good thing!

I was unable to make it to the swapmeet today, but sounds as though I missed all the fun. That sucks for the stocks , there is not many places for them to run on Saturday except Eldora and I understand why some dont go there every week. Well since there is a schedule out when is the first race?

I think I will call. What is going to happen when there is a big money sprint race somewhere and they only get a handful of the regulars to show up? I'm sure the fans will just love that. It might be the downfall of a great little racetrack. Hate to see it happen but whatever they think. There are a lot of stock car teams that brought a lot of fans and crew to the track. It just really upsets me to see it go down like this.

The initial Press Release will clear up a lot of those questions. Look for that very soon!
