It's official.... UMP Factory Stock Points for WMSP Stock Cars on Sunday, May 18, at Waynesfield Motor Sports Park!

Talked to Sam this morning, and it's "no problem"! I will now get to work on an expanded purse, and a few other awards, to make this Lima/Eldora VS. Oakshade "Stock Car Showdown" truly something special!

Also have the OK to do some Sportsman events as well! Put your heads together guys, and tell me how you want to approach this. Mike Jessen is "spearheading" this effort, and really has the best interest of the entire Sprotsman division in his heart! I'd like to thank him for that. So, come on out Sunday May 18, and show your support for the First Ever appearance of the Super Late Models, and your WMSP Thunder Stocks, as they pursue UMP State, Region,and National Championships!

Nice......the truck are going to run for more money also. That's good to hear since they are paying the $28 to get in also. That would be interesting to see the Oakshade cars against the Lima/Eldora cars. I think the UMP thing only applys to Oakshade cars though.....I don't think Lima/Eldora stocks earn UMP points do they? Anyway......it sounds like things are going in the right direction. Sounds like Cub made a perfect track last week and the Shobe's are as committed as they've ever been......beleive me folks.....Greg & Tami are good people and they are doing wonders in running this facility with all that they already do!!!!!!!!!! I promised all the truck guys I'd do whatever it took, including putting up the money out of my own pocket, to make sure they got more when they have to pay more! And I meant it!

You are correct, Lima/Eldora Thunder Stocks are not UMP, BUT, they are eligible, under WMSP's UMP affiliation. This could help those guys decide to race some other places, in hopes of becoming a Ohio State Champion, or The UMP National Champion! Frankly, those opportunities are Very Rare for the entry level divisions! I believe the entry level divisions are the very foundation, that the "Headliners" rest on, and I intend to do all I can to make sure each and every one of you feel like we are doing are part to help you realize your dreams!

Again, you are correct, the track was awesome last week! As soon as the sun dipped, you could see the track getting darker, as the water came back to the surface, and provided an unbelievable 360 Sprint feature! I can't wait to see the 410's and Modifieds tomorrow, and really can't wait to see those 750+ HP Late Models, on Sunday, May 18th!

I was impressed with the 4 cyl. Tuff Trucks! They put on a great show in their feature as well! I did feel bad for Jessica Nuss, when her truck broke, but she was on the move before the mechanical problem! Super Sweet Young Lady, and real nice family! Truck looks pretty good too!

wow this could be good if even a fraction of the oakshade stock cars show this could be a lot of cars ,and more money for the trucks thats cool , i have one question the late model boys have big haulers where are we all going to pit ?but you are doing what you told us last sat. nite so keep up the good work cast iron junkie. hey do you think any of these local guys realize oakshade has been known to have a 115 stocks cars on a saturday nite i have seen an f main on a big night i hope these guys show in force it will be great racing an they will adapt to this track real quick, just no sand

Gates at 2, hot laps at 4:30, racing at 5:30.

Yes Greg and Cub will serve in the same capacity as ALL WMSP shows. These are not "my shows" they are my idea, and my promotions. Just trying to help WMSP become profitable, on a consistent basis.

Bombers! The classes are pretty similar, and we've got the rules to compliment each other, instead holding them apart.

Example: Lima/Eldora Stocks, 2bbl carb, aluminum intake and headers, at 108" wheel base.

Oakshade Bombers, 4 bbl. carb, cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds, at 104" wheel base.

Don`t know what rules you are reading but Limaland/Eldora stock rules say cast iron intake and 2 bbl carb,we`re not allowed to run aluminum intakes.

Don`t know what rules you are reading but Limaland/Eldora stock rules say cast iron intake and 2 bbl carb,we`re not allowed to run aluminum intakes.

I stand corrected! Thank You!
