Nice turnout last nite !!!
A special THANK YOU to NAPA of Lima for doing all that they did and of course to the Shobes and their track team.
The kids were really having a good time with the spark plug mascot and all the balloons!
As I just sat back and absorbed the atomshpere and took it all in , it started to give me the feel of a veteren track atomshpere , like Fremont / Eldora - Good feeling , things that memories are made of.
I think alot of those kids will remember last nite for a lifetime

Nice Job Eveyone

This was my first night back to the track since my last race last year. I was really imprressed with the show and the turn out looked really good! I got the chance to talk to a lot of people and enjoyed the evening as a whole. Tim Allison put on a very nice show and he rode the top of the bowl nicely!! He was fun the watch! What else can you say about Jared Horstman in the 600's. The kid has that class mastered! Mike Hicks looked like the class of the field. He has an absolute awesome launch on restarts and that's his primary advantage! He gets out there 10 lenghts before the first turn...hard to beat on that much of a head start. Keeler and Higbea put on a really exciting show for 2nd which was fun to watch!! I missed the mods but congrats to Lenny! Track looked nice considering the humidity that they had to deal with!! Thanks to Greg and Cub for giving me my $25 worth and then some!!!! Well $26 because I bought a pop =)

I sure wish you would have bought all those pics of your truck last year. LOL It was good to see you again Danny Boy. You only live right down the street and we only have a few races left this year so tell Honey you will get back to your list in September.

LOL.....with the luck that truck carried with me in it Kenny, you couldn't give those pictures to me. It was really good to see everyone again. I have a revived perspective on things and only time can make that happen. The only way I have a desire to race again though is to drive for someone. I simply don't have enough hours in the day to work at my job and then all of the family functions. I sure can stop out to watch the races more! It was nice and things really went well. Tell your wife I said good luck next week in her powder puff attempt again.

Hey OGRE,
Drop an engine in the boat in the backyard and race it, I'm sure the kids won't mind !!!!
After all if Dale can race the big brown truck you can race the big brown boat.

Nice Job Eveyone

Things sure are lookin up @ WMP. Good racing all night and has anyone noticed the truck class is getting faster every week?!
I know its budget racing but they sure are doin a nice job. Sponsors for each class is a great idea! And seemed to work i myself will make it a point to use each buisness that sponsored the classes and let them know why i am using them.It was also GREAT to have the old announcer back, all around WMP is becoming a favorite, my hats off to all that made it possible! Job well done! see you all next weekend for sure
