Boy, is it quiet in here or is it just me? Ha ha.. I was wanting to know, how do the points play out? Like for the non-wing sprints, mini sprints and trucks.. What is the point total for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (example 1st place gets 10pts, 2nd, gets 9, and so on) I know its getting down to the wire for the point standings with next week being the last week for WMP. Seems like the racing season flew by this year, (with no help to mother nature)..

I know in the trucks it is 1st 125 2nd 120 3rd 115 -5 for each position all the way to 16-20 which is 50 points for all of those Anyone not making A main gets 25 for show up points Plus the amount of entries for example...there were 27 trucks show up. Everyone gets 27 points plus their finishing position. hope that helps!! I'm quiet cause I am kicking and screaming that the season is almost over. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :( Too busy mopping up the tears. Wish we had a NASCAR schedule. LOL

RacinMama, you are partly correct. The points for the feature start out with 125 for 1st plus the number of trucks that were there. Ex: if there were 27 trucks that night, the driver in 1st place would get 152 points. The points go down by 5 for each place all the way to 20th which gets 30 points plus the # of trucks. Show up points are just like you said: 25 points plus the # of trucks. I assume all the other classes are figured the same way. When I first offered to keep the points for the trucks, I set up everything on a spreadsheet on the computer. After Tami Shobe took on the responsibility, I have still kept up my spreadsheet, just for my info. I usually have the points figured for Jessie and the first few places before I even leave the track on Sat. nights. I'm always wanting to keep track of Jessie's points, so I know where she stands. Hope this helps. And, YES............we're kicking and screaming here too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish we could get some more races in in Sept. to make up for what Mother Nature took away from us! Wonder if we could race with snow tires on? lol

That would be soooo much fun to watch a race in the snow. However, it would be extremely cold to watch from the stands! There is a Fun Fest at Fremont coming up and from what we hear the 4 cyl. trucks may run with the compacts???????
