You're right. Sorry for loosing my cool.

no need to apologize, i see where you where coming from. im just saying this all started out as a discussion about getting rules together for mini sprints and things of that matter and then you have people coming in saying how mini sprints are just go karts with wings and it turned it to this whole argument. just dont see why people cant stay out of it if they dont have anything to say regarding the topic.

listen you guys you all need to just put your toys away and go to separate rooms if you can't play nice......
(smriders) it don't matter how much money you put into what you race, racing is still racing rather it is a mini sprint, stock car, what ever.
if a mini sprint puts 10 to $12,000 in the motor for 4 cyl if it was a 8 cyl that would equal $24,000 & to boot if you buy a new rolling chassis there's another
12 to 15 K so it could be as much as $27,000 but that don't get you any spares so this could go on and on.... I can sit and watch what ever is on the track

that is exactly the problem with this class. people putting 10 to 12 grand in these motors. Make it a stock motor rule, stock bore and stroke, can only be converted to alcohol and find someone who can tech, then i guarentee the racing will be much more exiting, Not the 20 running away with every race. Save money($4k for motor converted to alky) and much better racing. Just look at the MMSA, AMSA, 35 raceway or any other tracks that run minisprints. When 35 was getting 20+ cars a night, they had 10-12 different winnners a year. MMSA has had 10 different winners in 18 races, and AMSA has had atleast 6 different winners. How many has Waynesfield had? 3? 4?
Real exiting right there.

Its for sale buy it and you might be a winner every week. Has any one given any thought that it could just be the driver car combination. If you remember the 18 car was winning a lot a races last year.

 I think legend only treated you the way you were acting! Being "ticked" is no good excuse for your very poor response! The moderator needs to ban you from this site! Kids read Racestuds! They don't need to be exposed to such an immature, thoughtless poster! Read back through all the posts on this site, and you'll find very little, if any, posts that even come close to your potty mouth! You may think it makes you look tough.........WRONG!...........makes you look like the little brat of a kid you must be!

hey if they wanna kick me out or whatever fine... i normally jus get on here to read and im very interested in the sprints so i was readin this.. i thought it was rude of legends to be the way he was and lost my cool... i appologised.. and you kinda jus did the same lol.. but whatever.. ok .. woop woop Minis

I think Dale got a late start in racing in just my opinion i think he is better than Dave. I dont think he is cheating. Just a smart driver. When he stepped in hammons cars he got the job done there to. Its just another good combination. Seems like that question always pops up when some one gets on a roll.

I think maybe ppl need to find something else to complain about, what more do you want as tech? Oh I know the very first night we can line all the cars up after the race and strip the motors down to the crank and then everybody will know exactly what everyone has no questions then, and then you all can go home with all your parts and put them back together kinda like Humpty -- Dumpty and every race will do all of them again then everyone will know whats what would that be good enough tech then ???????? Or as someone has talked about sealed motors let look @ another class that does this Focus to properly do this you have to start by going to the mfg and then set a common buyer for say FTZ they in turn have to buy the motors from the mfg and seal them which now will cost you the racer more money, you can't take your motor and expect anyone to believe that it will be legal who are going to have seal them and make sure there is no cheating

YOU HAVE GUYS SPENDING 8K OR MORE AND THEIR THE ONES WINNING MOST OF THE RACES! ASK HORSTMAN YOURSELF, HE HAS TOLD ME WHAT HE HAS IN HIS MOTOR!!!!!!! NOT FAIR!!!!!!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO START AN ASSOCATION AND HAVE A GOOD SET RULES AND GUIDELINES. THATS HOW THE 360'S AT LIMALNAD DID IT.

Hey mole, anyone told you that the 360's are 30k and up engine price now? There's a lot of talk on other boards about wanting a true economy division. A b-mod series could be cool since modified rollers can be had reasonably cheap, and use a crate engine on DOT tires and 2 barrells or something.

that happens because ppl would rather be like that instead of working harder on thier race program. bottom line is horstmans car passes the rules that are being used now so thats not in any way cheating... just out spending. jmo
less time on the computer+more time in the shop= faster racecar!!

I will agree Less time on the computer more time working on car makes faster race car. My Opinion Horstman racing is just good. Jared is one Great driver!!
