Somebody really needs to step up to take charge of the 600 Mini Sprints because they are dieing. The tracks that do run them need to get people that know how to tech. I think that they need to go back to totally stock motors that are sealed. It is a shame that these guys say they want the 600's but do not know how to check them. By letting guys run stroker kits like a 750 is not a 600. If you don't have money you can't keep up. So all 600 people need to get together and decide what needs to be done for rules if they want to keep the class going. We need a big meeting to set these rules or we can go run with the 1,000's which is looking pretty good for next year. There is my opinion.

Mike I agree with you on motor rules, every class has the same problem and once a car wins so many in a row people start thinking right away the motor is illegal, maybe some are maybe some aren't. I told someone earlier this week that I would be interested in finding some race sponsors for certain races. I think if you up the purse and promote it some you will get cars, they are out there. Yes we did lose some cars to the 1000's however I have talked to some of them and they are coming back to a 600 next year because they can't afford the travel and expenses with back to back races, long haul races and things like that, they admit they tried it thinking they could make it but found out that not all can without deep pockets. The 1000's are still going to offer the 600's to run with them next year but I think we can draw them to Waynesfield. But right now like was said until you know for a fact that the 600's will be there next year you can't do anything. I know that a promoter doesn't want 100 people looking for sponsors but we can sure approach them and say here's what we would like to do and if they are interested they can contact the promoter or owner and work that part out. I have already had a couple people contact me that want to move out of karts and run a 600 next year and wanted some information so we are already getting more lookers.

I have nothing in this but watching , but what i like about it is that it is a great stepping stone for the young into the big cars. But it is also a great class for some who cant afford to be in a big car, but still get the thrill of almost being there. Its a great class, just need to see some one throw in some money to bring them around and into it. Lima would be a great boost for them if you get two night shows with some big payouts and winning both nights would be a bonus in it.

What needs to be done is to go back to motors being 600cc. Not a 640cc but totally stock. You can run alcohol but thats it. Waynesfield is the best track around for minisprints and yes they kept the pay there. Not like 35 Raceway. It is a shame that Moler couldn't of got more cars because he will pay for us to come there. But since he didn't get alot to show up when he did run them thats why he wasn't going to take a chance on it again. I really have had fun racing 600's and will possible continue next year but all 600 racers need to get together to keep everything together with rules.

A Kaw 636 might be stock only if you haven't had anything done to it. Now 750 stuff can be added to it but no one is smart enough to check them. If we don't get this back in check on keeping things right rule wise it get to be a money game like all other divisions of racing. This is supposed be a low cost racing. We are suppose to keep it where guys can afford to move up from go carts or someone who can't afford to race bigger cars. You want more cars than put everything back to stock and have money put up to tair someone down.

I'm going to step in here and have a say, I have looked at rules all over and I haven't found one place like that with (stock) rules.. If you do that then all you will draw is what you have here, but correct me if I am wrong Loney's, Ashworth's and Horstman's motor' was teched (legal), and for those who weren't there they were all below the max... So if you want real teching here what I can do , each night there can be a protest you have to be on the lead lap and in the top 5 and have to protest on the track, this will cost that person $400 and the car that is protested will then be put in impound and the motor will be tore down if the car is legal $325 goes to the car and and $75 to the tech. and for those of you that take your own motors apart know that this will get costly when you are buying head gaskets and bolts and then the time.... I want to say I have seen allot of driver that have made a huge improvement and there are some that have made mistakes but all in all everyone did a great job this year.....

I don't know where you get your definition. But there is a big difference between go carts and 600 minisprints. I know about stock cars.

Sorry.......... I have a very difficult time believing that any/all stock cars are JUNK stuff!!!! quite enough said!

and for those who are less informed, it's against V8 trucks, not the Waynesfield 4 CYLINDER trucks!!!!

i just dont understand how one guy runs like crap in a car so he get back in his regular car and start tail and blow the whole field away and then save it for last lap and act like it was a tough win. i know he is a good young talented driver but cmon the class is a joke. thats why i go to the bathroom and look at race pics when they race.im just saying there would be just as many stocks if not more than mini's. love those mods and trucks. p.s. the compacts was just exciting as the mini's are. lmao
