I spoke with Dean the new promoter for Waynesfield today and asked about our future. He is undecided at this time on us for the schedule as to whether we would be every week or just a few times. His biggest concern is numbers, he mentioned that one time he was there this year there were only 10 but another time there were 16 or more. If we can get the numbers it sounds like we can get on the schedule but we need names and phone numbers to show that you plan to run Waynesfield in 2009. I believe the economy had alot to do with our drop in numbers as it did in many classes but if we want on the schedule we got to get numbers like they were the last 2 races. If you are going to attend the banquet on Nov. 2 he will have a sheet for you to fill out for your name and number so he can contact you and speak with you about running next year. If you are NOT going to attend the banquet but plan to run Waynesfield next year PLEASE e-mail me your name and address so we can make sure it gets put on the list. My e-mail is bigstif@juno.com. I have some phone numbers of those that ran this year that I will try to call so we can get all the names to Dean. Thanks

Even if you are not a mini sprint owners or driver but are like Skip and want to see them there in 2009 call Dean at 419-306-1499 and tell him you want to see the minis on weekly basis.

Banquet is less than a week away. I hope that alot of mini and stock drivers show up to talk to Dean. We will see just who wants to race come Sunday!!
