Way to go Chris Hicks, just watched my tape. That was awesome. Got to watch the feature from behind you, didn't realize how many times you split 3 wide. Fantastic first feature win! To all trucks there tonight, great job driving. The only class with no cautions, and we are the beginner class. Couldn't have had a better time and will see you all June 27th. Thanks to Dean Miracle and all WMP staff. Hope that was a good show for you, at least I thought so.

Yes our regular season is over at the end of August, but there are 13 shows scheduled for the trucks between now and then, plus who knows what we will run at the end of the year. It's never too late to put one together and come out. At the very least you'll get a good idea of where you stand for next year.

Is the track going to close down or is it just Dean leaving? anyways congrats to Chris!

Why would the track close down? And why would Dean leave? Yes we are having challenges like any business. Henceforth the adjustments to the schedule. However, if you paid any attention the to great racing in all classes last night, you'd know that we have a great product to offer. Going forward with the schedule we have, it is our goal to let people know that the best place to be for great racing action on Saturday nights is Waynesfield Raceway Park. And we nee YOUR help to do that. Grab a friend or neighbor, and bring them to the track. Introduce them to the sport we love. There's only so much that advertising can do. The rest is up to ALL of us.

This is not the place to discuss this. This thread is intended to congratulate Chris on his feature win last night. If you'd like to discuss this further with me, feel free to send me a private message here, or start a new thread.

I already told you face to face.....but great job Chris...that was one heck of a driving show in lapped traffic! Your brother was really excited for you...I thought he was going to run out on the track before you drove off it. That's what I love to see......family excitement and support. Just like the Twinings........your family is a really nice family also and I'm proud to say I know you guys! Keep up the hard work!!

One heck of a run Chris, I hope your big brother doesn't raise your rent to pay for his motor problems. hehe I think the only thing more impressive then the win was your taking your truck to Victory lane and letting all the kids climb in it for pics and to just check out a race truck. Building future support for the class, track, and sport. Three of the kids I talked to around your truck were first time racing fans at Waynesfield. I think they'll remember their first race for a long time, and getting to check out and sit in your truck would have to be a great part of that memory. Hicks family does it again with class. ;)
