thought i'd throw my 2 cents into the mix. first off let me say that i love racin at the field and think its the best thing goin. the dry slick track is the thing that needs to be handled. when the track goes dry slick it becomes one lane around the bottom. thats what asphalt tracks are for. very boring for the drivers and fans. and i would love to see turn 1 get some lighting. i think that the track is headed in the right direction and hope that we can all work together to continue its growth.

If I'm not mistaken the non wing sprint winner was putting it on the wall most of the race from the 8th starting spot. I will however agree on the lighting in turn 1.

Westfall definitely had it going in the high groove. I do agree though that the track was too dry. I know it is dirt and all that and people will say that it will slick off to a point. It is just frustrating from a fan stand point to see the non wings go half throttle and idle through the corners. It does have it's advantages though. There is one non wing that is running a crate motor and I think that it's great that he got a good run saturday. I like watching the racing there and plan to keep coming back. just my 2 cents worth.

These are all great ideas and I'm sure they will be improved in time. First and foremost we need to get more people in the grandstands. We strive to see the night where all the stands are full for a show other than AllStars. We understand many of the things you guys are saying and we keep then on our project list. As you can see on the other tread people are willing to help out in any way to make this a better place to run buy doing something as simple as handing out flyers.....that's what it's going to take.

I love the way the track has been just about perfect. I think that when tracks try to get the track heavier it gets screwed up early in the night and is a sloppy mess or rougher than a cob. At gas city early in the night it seems a little to much watering is done. So i would rather see a smooth slick track than a heavy rough track. It helps with money too when not breaking things do to a rough track and as stated before it doesnt take a huge engine.
