Would the stocks be aloud to run racing tires, aluminum intakes,no weight rule?

At this point how would anybody have those answers? Somebody gave a sugestion to help the car count in that class. And to expose new people to WRP They ran together at Millstream and will run together at Limaland. What every rules they come up with for the Limaland show would probably be avaliable to WRP.I will also add at Millstream they were pretty closly matched! Lets not get our undies in bunch when its just a SIMPLE sugestion!

Very valid point......if they ran weekly at milstream the trucks would eventually figure out the setup and be faster on average than the stocks because of the mechanical advantage, but on a smaller track like lima or the field, it might even out.

wanted to add that I am all for this idea. I am a HUGE fan of the stock cars at all tracks and anything to help curb the dwindling numbers of competitors is a great idea!!

Let em run what they already have, if you make them change things they arent going to come down!!! Obviously they are legal at Attica and Fremont, so let em stay that way.

As for them being better than the stocks, i guess the stocks would have to up their game! But im sure a few could be competitive.

At millstream it was stockcars run limaland rules but did leave the stocks run racing tires if they wanted to.the trucks had to run fremont rules. the racing was VERY close,in fact about the same number of stocks and trucks made the feature, and the last race there art ball won in the trucks so I say I am all for it,LET'S GO RACING DEAN!!!!!!!!

Who said anything about making them change anything? i said at lima or waynesfield, they'd be even. don't put words into my mouth.

I woul like to see stocks run with the trucks, but there would have to be some changes made. Stocks right now can only run DOT tires, no alky, no 4bbl. So don't you think that stocks could put on a 4bbl at least, and maybe race tires be optional? You could tell at Millstream that the trucks had a really distinct advantage. One of the best stock car drivers couldn't get around them. Jeff was giving that car everything it had.

Just curious, on a smaller track like Waynesfield and Lima, wouldn't the tradeoff between horsepower and handling even out, as long as the stocks had racing tires as well? I'm not trying to question your judgement, I'm just asking since that was the way I understood it.

I dont see any big deal, a few V-8s went over and ran at Wayne County. Mind you WAYNE COUNTY. and they didnt win. Lima is running a v-8 vs. stock car race, and millstream did last year. If it was an unfair advantage, why would Lima and Millstream have done this? JMO. I say that stocks would have the advantage knowing the track and having the setup down.

Actually we have to run 2 barrel carbs in the truck division. And lso we have to run a full frame where as the stocks are allowed to run racing rear clips, also we have to run stock leaf springs. We arn't allowed to run any link stuff or anything like that. I personally think they match up fairly close with each division running their own rules

I guess this is out for the 27th since the stocks were dropped from that date but maybe in the future.
