Jeff won the dash and finished 2nd in the stock feature last Friday at Limaland. But after the top 3 stopped on the front stretch for the interviews the the track makes them do. He went straight to his pits instead of the scales. Even though there was a official right there when he climbed from his car they told him he was DQ and would not receive any money or points for the hole nite including the dash. He pleaded with them to let him go to the scales with no avail. I think with today's economy and Limaland getting racers and fans to come to there track maybe they could have treated him better. If it was not for show they put on on the front stretch for the top 3 in each class Jeff would have not forgot to re-scale.

Hey Push, Were you at the drivers meeting? The drivers are told that the Winner of each feature is required to stop on the front stretch for an interview and the second and third place can stop but they are NOT required to. Also they are told that if they are not sure go to the scale and find out if they need to be there.

On the pit board it is posted that the top so many need to scale after each feature.

It was to bad that this happened but he was the only one to do this out of 3 features.

good job on ur 2nd but he just got caught up in his good finish and forgot to scale. dont worry he is not the 1st to not scaleand be dq. when ur not use to those kind of finishes u forget things. dont let it get u down and go get another good finish.( i bet the scale mistake wont happen to koz again lol)

Must be a Jeff thing. I believe a few years ago Jeff Babcock won a feature and didn't scale, he also was DQ.

Yes he was and i think that gave the win to his brother-in law, at least they kept it in the family, i don't know whether Bob tells them any more but when i used to race there on the front stretch he always told me don't forget to scale, and they do always have it posted on the board, but i know it sucks tp have a good run taken away like that.

I think he will get a win sometime soon...He is very fast. Sucks that he didnt scale, but its a rookie mistake(isnt this his first year) and it happens. Take it as a learning experience and a boost of confidence to know you ran second.

Ya that does suck.. When my dad told me i was like man that sucks cuz i think thats his first win. And his family was all standing at the fence cheering. He probably just got caught up in the moment cuz he knew he was finally getting some cash in his pocket. Especially with the economy. They put out a lot of money for those cars and its a great big relief and excitement when you know your finally getting some of it back.. Man that sucks

Jeff Koz is from Michigan, he ran Late Models up there, did real good. His job located him down here and he decided to try our tracks out. He looks great for never running here before. He said he will NEVER forget the scales again after that mistake last friday.

I asked a few people who he was and where he was from, he came on the scene to fast to quick. Knew he could be no rookie. Sounds like he knows how to get around a track.

SHOULD HAVE LOST MONEY FOR DASH BECAUSE HE WAS NOT REQUIRED TO SCALE AFTERWARDS SO IN MY COURT LIMALAND IS WRONG AND WOULD LOSE IN FRONT OF A JUDGE.AS FOR FEATURE IF IT SAYS TOP THREE SCALE THEN YOU BETTER SCALE. BUT IF I REMEMBER RIGHT OTHER RACERS HAVE MADE IT BACK TO THE TRAILER AND BEFORE THEY GOT OUT OF THE CAR,AN TRACK PERSONAL TOLD THEM TO GO TO SCALE. SO TAKE IT FOR WHAT ITS WORTH. YOU DECIDE GOOD JOB JEFF AND CREW BEST LOOKING STOCKER I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME!
