I would like to first say that Millstream did a great job on track prep for last nights all star speedweek event. But I think if I am Dean "Waynesfield" I would recommend pulling 1 class of the schedule for wednesdays event.
The All Star officials "JMO" did a very poor job controling the races and keeping things moving last night. I know there was some things out of there hands such as crew members getting hurt and a fan needing medical attention that slowed the show down.
But don't they use radios to help communicate with the drivers. We watched way to many caution laps that led to them red flagging the race to have discussions with some of the drivers then push start all the cars run a couple laps and red flag it again to refuel. Millstream only ran 2 classes and it was still 1am before they were done. I know alot of fans were upset (hopefully this does not keep them from attending another speedweek evet)
Great Races when they were racing just all the BS between green flags was disappointing.
I look forward to the races Wednesday at the field
The all star officials are a joke, and they are the ones to blame for the messes. They have radios and used them, I was listening. About half of the drivers were not apparently.
The first red flag was for Dustin Dinan after his accident was having trouble breathing. He was taken to the hospital, and was admitted into ICU with chest trauma where he still is. He has bruised lungs, and a bruised heart....highly sedated and is having trouble using his arms due to pain. The second medical emergency was for a child who was struck hard in the head with a rock. None of those things can be prevented, and are acceptable delays (however I would hope that from now on more than one ambulance will be present for such a large crowd and car count). The rest of the crap was ridiculous. Qualifying could have been cut in half with a common sense order to it, and the rest of the officiating was a joke as well. The officials apparently forgot how to wipe their own asses, much less run a show.
Ever see a guy get disqualified, stopped twice under red and still restarted to let finish without being scored....and THEN decided to un-disqualify him? We saw it last night. If you dq'ed him, why the hell are you still push starting him? Back a wrecker up to him, let him ride along if he insists. I like the driver involved in this, and based on past actions would have to give him the benefit of the doubt especially considering other past officiating screw ups and screwings. Still, I do not see dean putting up with these kinds of shenanigans. What would Earl have done? Dean's a great ringleader, and I would NOT suspect any issues similar to these on his watch regardless if he had 10 divisions.

First off I want to say that I wish Dustin a Speedy recovery!!! Hang in there BUDDY! It will get BETTER!
Now on to a response:
First off EARL would have had Mr. Webb and his staff thrown OUT and he would of had his crew FINISH the show!!!
And as far as DEAN goes , his show WILL go Smooth , I'm sure , I just hope that they are OPENING that race track UP during THE WEEK PREP , CUZ IT IS HOT!!!!
See ya Wed.

Yes koolkat I agree with Dean keeping the show going, To bad he didnt have control over the allstar's.Those people (officials)drag their feet soooooo bad. Then when the stock cars were trying to come in to the pits they pulled their trailers out infront of them like they owned the place. I like big races you betcha, but talk about RUDE.They are lucky I dont raceI would have ran into them haha Let GEICO do the claim on that one.It was a very late night at The Field but It seemed to me that Dean and the crew didnt have muchsay so(just my opinion) please dont shoot me!But I will say when the LateModels were there........the show went pretty smoothly. And didnt act as if they ran the place, again (jmo) I dont prefer one over the other.you dont even have to worry about Dean, they dont mess around over there, hardly any breaks. one night we raced a sunday out at the field, i was home at 10 and i live in elida. the sun didnt even go down till after the second feature.
