How was Milstream last night? I'm wandering how the show was run and how late they got finished. I'm guessing that Fremont handled the track prep.

The track was fast but dusty,They didn't get done til almost 1AM,not by any fault of the millstream personal, the All-Star officials are a joke, and they are to blame for all the confussion and BS that went on,So please do not get on here and bash millstream,Blame the all-Stars people. Some things that happened was out of there control, one driver was taken to the hospital and is still in ICU,then a child was hit by a rock and had to be attened to behind the grandstands. Fremont did handle the prep of the track, but when you have a sunny day all day and a breeze it is hard to keep the track wet and the dust down. the car count was good 60 all-star sprints, and 30 some 305's. I for one was happy with the actual racing, but not all the BS that went on!!!!

Just goes to show Ya , " IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE " to run a racetrack!!! All that is needed is CONSISTENCY ( A SCHEDULE , A FULL SCHEDULE  ), TEAMWORK (with an established crew and NOT a borrowed one) that way LEARNING from MISTAKES can come into play :) Like the ambulance thing (2 at a min. should have been there)

YOU CANNOT RUN 1 or 3 races a year and not expect that kind of nite , NOT to mention (but I will) the fact that the gates have rusted shut for the last 9 years!
Hey I love Millstream Too and I support it , grew up in Clyde Oh , Raced at Fremont /Attica/and even Millstream (1980's ;) ) , but you know what , I was smart enough to stay home last nite because i knew this would happen , been doing this a long time  Oh believe me , I wanted so BAD to be there , but I just knew that it was NOT going to go as planned! Too much HYPE on the past i guess. And I do read more posts than I partake in!!! ;) But I will say 60 410's , now that is impressive and a sign that they want to RACE there again!!!!! (won't say no more there B) )

But Kudos to the FREMONT STAFF for taking it on especially when they have their OWN Speedweek date to worry about , and that would be the "FINALE" :o

Oh and I'm not an ALL STAR FAN (anymore) not really since BERT EMICK was the man , he knew what he was doing!!! I only attend for SPEEDWEEK , because , he started it and I want to support the guys that now entertain us "THE FANS" , and OHIO has ALOT of STARS if you would ask me , and I am super proud that alot of them are from my old mudslinging grounds :D

See Ya All at Waynesfield , Attica , Lima and Fremont :)
