I am just posting quick results....since nothing else went quickly tonight(except the cars) 50 sprints signed in 1)Stevie Smith, 2)Pittman, 3)#11 Martin Trucks around 17 or so showed up 1)Tim Dick, 2)Bill "Hippy" Keeler about 2inches ahead of 3)Gabe Twining Stocks around 15 or so 1)Babcock, 2)Conover (I assume cause it was his #8c) TA lost a rr tire with 1&1/2 laps to go while running 2nd but #8c might have gotten past him anyways cause he passed a bunch of cars coming from somewhere in the back. 3)Knock. Gossard and Scotty Bowersock both had mech trouble and dropped out Thats as much as I remember after cooking in 95degree temps for 6 hours today and the final race finished sometime around 1:00am I think Stevie Smith set fast time around a 10.5 Track was SUPER FAST, kinda heavy and real tacky. But track crew did a great job at grading it and it was really smooth during the feature. Sprints couldn't run a race without a flip or 2. But that seems to have happened at every speedweek show this week except for maybe Hilltop lastnight which I was told was so dusty the fans couldn't even tell who won the heats so they stopped every heat winner on the track so the fans could see who won after the dust cleared. Dean Miracle asked me to post this: He wants to apologize to everyone because he overwatered the track and trying to keep it smooth caused some delay. We hadn't had any night at Waynesfield this season that wasn't finished before 11:00 pm until now and Dean really prides himself on running a speedy show. However tonight was definately not run in our normal speedy fashion. He fully realizes that the normal working family fans do not want to be at a racetrack well past midnight on a Wednesday. THANX to all the raceteams and especially the fans for coming to Waynesfield and Dean feels very bad that the night finished so late. Sorry to all. NOTE from me: 50 sprints were running tonight. Qualifying them, running heats, a Cmain, Dash, Bmain(that was loaded with high caliber cars that would make any normal weekly racetrack proud), and Amain feature will cause the night to run long. Dean did adjust the order of events to get the All Star Sprint show finished as early as possible for the sake of the speedweek fans. The stock cars never even ran a heat until the complete sprint show was finished! Dean tells all at every drivers meeting that "the order of events is posted and that will never change during the night." Tonight he made some changes to allow the traveling fans to get home earlier. A special "Thank You" goes out to the racers and fans with the stocks and tuff trucks because they got pushed back into a later time slot in an attempt to please the majority. When I raced stock cars, we once had to wait until a complete WOO show finished at Eldora before we could even hotlap. I never forgot that and just kept thinking that my pitpass cost me the same amount as Steve Kinser's so why should I have to wait until midnight to hotlap? So hats off to the stocks and trucks because those guys support Waynesfield weekly and will surely be thinking about it when their alarm clock goes off in just a few hours.

You have to give Dean crdit for asking you to get on here and apologize to people about tonight. i dont think any one did it about the late night findlay show. Any one who visits the field on a regular basis knows this was a one time happening. The track condition and the late night show. After they got the grader out it was a nice fast track. Got to admit Jessica Nuss did a nice job of sing, they need to record her and play it every week.

Thanks Kinny for giving everyone a quick overview of the results, very much appreciated. I have already read some post saying congrats to DEAN on a smooth run. LOL. He complains he dont get any stock cars and the car counts are low. So what does he do. He treats that class last night like a piece of you know what. For someone that wants car counts he should, in my opinion try to treat everyone equally. Give it some thought. I know a few stock cars now that said they will not take there cars back there again due to the fact how they was treated last night.

man, if dean woulda put them stockers out there early on, we would have had to wait for the entire track to be graded instead of just spots. dem narrow tires with all that weight on em wouldve tore the track to shreds. if i was running the place, i would have made em wait too. if the stock guys want to be mad at someone, myabe they should turn that anger at the prima donnas in the sprint cars who thought they needed to block up the whole pit area with haulers and not let the stocks out of their pits.

Well i am going to just bash the hole intire show. IT SUCKED WIND FROM THE START. The track was a piece of crap from the start. They ran the sprints in hot laps and time trials first. Hot laped the trucks and went into the heat races of the sprints ran the Dash C-main B-Main and trucks was the only ones on that track until that point. That track needed graded before the heat races of the sprints. Dean pulled up to Jeff Babcock and Brad Conover and said the stock cars tore up his track in six hot laps. I would like to thank Larry Bose for sticking up to Dean M. Dean was not going to let the trucks or stock cars run hot laps or heat races last night period. Only features Pay thirty dollars and get to race a feature. Thats not cool Dean you might want to watch you wallet if you keep crap up like that you might start loosing money when the feild filler start to stay at home. Then pay your purses. Its like what Brad said you can tell Dean is lying when his lips are moving. The stock cars did nothing to that track last night I belive the stock cars was the only class that did not have a red flag. A few yellow flags due to the rough track tearing tires off the beedlocks. And if people don,t like what I said from the track send your emails to conoverbti@udatacom I would be glad to respond. Tim Conover

whinney buts, lol u should felt like u do at the big E then cause they treat the stocks like crap too. but im not going to state no more but this, I dont care for bti and bti hasnt even been racing much this year to have any say at a track. bti has always thought that people should look up to them because they are the greatest around. NOT, we get the stocks back at the field then they pout. just throw towel in dean and get rid of the stocks and mini's. run all non wing and mods and trucks. and if compacts wanna whinne after thier chance then get rid of them too. love to see couple more late model show anyways.

Ok master bater of all I don't care if you miss BTI I have a good team + you must miss us if you know that we have not been around much this year. One reason that we have not raced much this year is cause Brad and I are turning wrenches for Matt Miller on the late model team. And people like you hate him also and why hes good.

I wasn't aware you turn wrenches for Matt Miller. I thought SCHOOL BOY was all about that. As for Master of All I don,t think he misses you or your race team.I think you misunderstood what he meant. The way I took it he could care less about what you have to say and I agree there is probably alot of people here that don't care about what people like you have to say. Do not know you and do not care to no you. Will be talking to Matt At some SUMMER NATIONALS RACES I WILL FIND OUT WHY STOCK CAR GUYS ARE WORKING ON HIS EQUIPMENT AND FIND OUT WHERE IS SCHOOL BOY.hE WAS AT THE dREAM

master batter? u meant to say master baiter? lmao i dont have a race team nor am i associated with one.and the reason i know bti hasnt been there is because people aint being looked down on and less whinning, but i could care less just dont bash on wmp when it was out of thier hands when it came to the sprints. im just a big fan of lots of years. and actualy i did like matt miller until u said bti was involved with matt miller. Im a bigger jon henry fan and a casebolt fan on the big circuit ( unless jon henry is running ) so how does it feel to chase a rookie in the points? i think u choose the wrong team. and for dirt queen B lol i hope they dont care about me cause i know i dont like bti, never have and never will. and when u talk to matt tell him he is losing fans and respect for letting those kind of people be on his crew. Im sure matt dont think he is the greatest thing to walk threw the pits. JMO so take it how u want, im here on earth to please my wife and 5 kids, not anyone else

Dirt Queen I know the boys at BTI are helping out turning the wrenches on DSI late model team. They know Scott and Matt real well. I talked the other day to them and Matt might be in the DSI car for the world this year. They are good people and speek whats on there mind and will let you know where they stand on any issue. Last night the stock car did get treated bad. I know they will be with the team for the North South race this year. Ther summer nationals races this year will be @ Waynesfield in a few weeks so there is no reason to ask Scott. Show up to there pits and you will find them there with the team. Chuck Ropp

Wow, sorry you were so disappointed in the track conditions. Dean told me last night that if anyone says the track was bad last night, he agrees. With the forecast of 90 degrees and sun for yesterday, the decision was made to lay the water to the track. If they wouldn't have done that, it would have been as dusty as Hilltop was the previous night. Unfortunately it left the track extremely soft in places. With the narrow tires on the stock cars and the condition of the track, the decision was made to hold the stocks until the track came around some more. That decision was made by Larry, and Dean as well as others helping with the track.

As far as the order of events were concerned, it had nothing to do with Larry Boos sticking up for anyone. If there weren't enough cars we weren't going to run heat races in either class(stocks or trucks). A couple more cars showed up and gave us 18 in both division, and the decision was made to run heats in both divisions. You should be glad you got to race at all. Alot of tracks just run 1 support division of 360s or 305s and leave the stock cars out to dry all together. Did it suck that you had to wait until last to run? Absolutely. Was it the right decision? I think so. Dean and Larry must've thought so too, or they wouldn't have done it that way. The reason the stocks didn't have any red flags is because the track was in much better shape by the time they hit the track.

As far as badmouthing Dean, maybe you should talk to him personally and let him know your feelings. His email and phone number are readily available on our website.

I hope you don't let last night cloud your judgement of Waynesfield Raceway Park, Dean, or any of our staff or crew. We all work extremely hard to put on a great show for the fans. I look forward to seeing you with the DSI team on Friday, July 10th for the next to last night of UMP Summer Nationals action, and hope you will continue to support Waynesfield Raceway Park in the future.

ok i for one was down at waynesfield last night and the track was complete crap theres just no other way to put it. i do like waynesfield and all but last night was horrible. plus dean wouldnt have to worry about pleasing the stock car guys and the truck guys if he would have just let the 360's run with the all stars but nope cant do that cuz that takes a little more money. lmao they throw the 360 sprints off the schedule because they dont have the car counts they had 15 at the last show they ran there and then dean decides to throw the trucks and stocks on the schedule for last night and he gets a huge field of 18 a piece great job dean i mean that really helped you a lot. i wouldnt be surprised if next year the all stars dont run waynesfield in the speedweek and truthfully i wouldnt blame them at all cuz last night was horrible. as for the people that keep saying have more late model shows if the late models were to run on a track like that last night they wouldnt come back either. plus late models are ok to watch as long as sprints are running that same night also.
