I was in turn 4 when he flipped in turn 2. By the time I walked down there, the wrecker was already hooking it up. The only pic I got was when it was being towed off the track.

You might want to get ahold of Jeff Converse at High Vista Video. He was filming last nights races, and he may have got video footage of it. www.highvistavideo.com

i talked to jamie and he said it was quite a ride and he wasnt that sore but all i can think of when i see these pics is the caption should be UP UP AND AWAY. im glad everybody was ok and they named these things right tuff trucks cause they get tested to see how tuff they are about every week.i think they should start the antigravity club for the trucks ;) because it would now have a lot of members

I might be wrong and this is just my opinion but I'm thinking that the amount of flips this year has alot to due with the Hoosiers. With these trucks and the amount of grip that the tires get along with the track being as tacky as it's been, once the trucks get sideways ya better be holding on. The trucks don't rip up the track on DOT's like the stocks, mostly due to our lack of HP and we're not hanging it out through the corners. I've have often wondered what the deal was with making the trucks have to use these tires. At least they only mandate that we only have to run one on the right rear. Anyways, just my opinion so don't bite my head off!!!! :P I hope ya all have fun over the next few weeks, we're taking a little time off and decided not to run for points this year. SO that will open up a top 5 spot up to somebody (Just Kidding). This years been a little tough on us and coming close to being more like work then fun. We'll take some time off to get that fun factor back. Good Luck to all in the trucks and we'll see ya in a few weeks --- Be Safe ;) DJ Nuss JD&D #26 Racing

I personally think the tires have nothing to do with the flips, for one they have had more flips with dot tires. I think its the short and narrow wheel base, and being top heavy. but thats jmo

Higher center of gravity + higher speed + Lots of side bite = bicycling and rolling.

:( h-m-m-m..........I've been watching the trucks for 3 years, don't remember flips in past years like this year. Remind me of the ones you are talking about. Maybe it's just my old mind! lol, but it seems to me it is much different this year. I don't have an opinion why, just seems worse this year.

That was NOT a complaint from DJ about the tires, just a thought as to the cause and effect relating to the increased flips this year. We appreciate Hoosier sponsoring the point fund for the trucks. We are always trying to figure out what changes have to be made to keep all the drivers safe. It was just a thought. As I said in another post, I truly don't remember such major flips with the trucks in the past years. If I'm wrong, please remind me.
