Talk about a class act guy. Have any of you seen the dwarf kid that is always waving his hat at Jeff Babacock? he is a little small kid that about feature time always stands on the stones and waves his hat at Jeff. He always goes down to the pits to talk to Jeff after the races. Well i got a email from Jeff asking if i knew his full name. The kid needs a operation this week and Jeff would like to send him a card or go see him at the hospital. Talk about a class act guy. IF ANY ONE KNOWS THE FULL NAME OF THIS KID PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME AT SCORE125@AOL.COM. I DONT WANT TO GIVE OUT JEFFS EMAIL ADDRESS SO IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME OUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO SO. THANKS SKIP LETS MAKE A KID FEEL HAPPY IF WE CAN. OR POST HIS NAME ON HERE sorry about the double post dont know how that happened

Yes, I've seent hat kid also. He always wears ski/motocross goggles too. I don't know his name but I did see him cheering for Jeff. You're right Skip....Jeff is a class act! That kid picked a good guy to cheer for because jeff can wheel a car also!

Skip, if it is the same one that I've seen you may want to try the Limaland board also if you havent gotten a reply. I know the guy he is always with when they sit in turn 1 has been at Limaland and Eldora. I just can't remember if the smaller one is always with him at the other tracks. Seem like die hard race fans so I would hope someone knows the name or how to get in touch with them. Sorry I cant help further but thought I would offer what little I know.

Hopefully you folks are talking about the young man that sits up high in the turn 1 stands.....if so, That little boy is a really neat kid, and his dad is a heck of a nice guy too!! They are both big race fans.

His dad told us the boy is going to Chicago to have facial reconstructive surgery.

I want to wish him and his family the best of luck with the surgery, and a very speedy recovery!!

Like OGRE said he wears ski/motocross goggles and a short little fellow. i emailed Dean earlier if maybe Jeff could give him a ride in the pace truck during the anthem.

That is a great idea! I bet he would love that! The person that I always see him with has red hair, wears sunglasses and usually wears a tank top. I see them walking down the bottom of the stands heading to and from turn 1 so I don't see the goggles but I'm sure it's probably him. I've seen them for at least 2 years but I'm sure they've been coming there longer, I just switched where I sat at that time. Hopefully someone can tell you.

We are still looking for any info on this little young man or his father. there could be a chance that his father could turn up at any of the races this next week at the field. So if any one sees him, please try and get any information that you can about him or his son. Where he lives for a address or what hospital he might be in. Thanks Skip
