Just wondering why babcocks #52 car was behind pit grandstands for so long. Rumor as it that he had 2 shocks on???? and the one wasn't working like a dummy shock also heard that the intiminator cars are illegal, something with the frame horns, and the right front Hope this is just rumor because jeffs been on a roll.

Well if they didnt find anythang wrong behind the grandstands friday night he must be legal. Or they just didnt get the tape measure out at that time , I guess when you win all the time sombodys out to bring you down.well good luck babcock

The rumor I heard was that someon told the officials that the 52 mod was running double shocks. They made them take it off and tear it down and IT WAS A FALSE CLAIM. The dummy shock was exactly what it is called. CONGRATS JEFF BABCOCK. Plain and simple everyone, they have there mod figured out and hooked up do your homework.

Same crap happin to Jon Henry last year. If the haters want to win. Stop down at the 52 car. Talk to Mario and he will build you one. I remeber Hull winning 4 or 5 in a row dont recall him getting the tear down. #52 Car was legal so no big deal. Great equipment, great driver, great crew= great results

I dont think it matters what car jeff is in. jeff just knows how to drive to get the job done. good job jeff and crew. look how fast that car was when frankie drove it a few years back

hull also doesnt run a dummy shock i have looked under his car a few times he also does not "black out" his car and keep it covered up that might be why they dont tear him down because he doesnt look suspcious JMO

Yeah I see your point. Your car gets a tech inspection before every race. That cover isnt on it then.

The dummy shock just takes the place of a coil over eliminator , but it is way more reliable and doesn't need to be taken apart and cleaned and greased all the time

No the covers are not to cover up cheeting. We use them on the late model. It keeps people from looking at where you have your bar angles, shock location, clamped up, J Bar and things like that. The side covers hides the tire compounds and keeps people from looking at the rear end of the cars when you have them on the stands and waiting to put back on the tires. I hpoe this helps you out!!!!!

Look people...give Babcock credit where credit is due. The guy has more than proved that he's a great driver and a class act. He's won well over 100 features in the stocks and doing great in the mod. LMP has their chance every week to inspect the cars and they find nothing. If you were so concerened about it and know for a fact what he's doing illegal then maybe you should talk directly to the officials about it. Heck....be real brave and ask Mario directly...I would like to hear his response to you....lmao

He told me in a email that he was to go over today and get the seat fit to him, so it sounds like he will be in it friday.

Babcock and Henry's both came from same shop. Put whatever name you want on it. There front clips are different. They both have ran all over and never been DQ.
