Hey Dean, I was wondering if there is any chance we could get the match races back? I have some old videos when yu were runnning limaland and you were having the match races then. The one that sticks out the most in my mind is the one between Dick Gaines and Rick Furkel non winging it. What a heck of a match race!!! I may have to get that out and watch again tonnight its that good.I would love to see some match racing at the field. Also how about bringing the bounty back?For those of you that dont know what this is: When a racer is winning alot in a class a bounty is put on him, and it pays a little more to beat him. This used to bring in some out of towners in the old days to beat the hotdogs (or Try LOL). Just some things I was thinking about. Well gotta go the vcr is warming up and got to watch Gaines and Furkel go at it!!!!!!!!!!!

The match races used to get the fans all worked up. Most times it was 'put on', and the drivers split the $$ equally......still, it was a good show, and that is what mattered!

wmp put a bounty on jeff babcock in his stock car before.(last year or it was the year before) it did make it more exciting.

I remember watching my Dad and Phil "Dizzie" Dotson in a match race years ago, as well as Dad vs my Grandpa, and Ferkel vs. Johnny Beaber. Those were really neat deals.

oh man diz have not heard that name in years he used to be a fixture in late models and stocks man that was back in the day good memories for sure

When Jerry Lear put up that bounty against Babcock......I think he even got some decals made up and gave them to some of the other stockers. They said "Bounty Hunter." I think Jerry had them made up because I know a few differnt cars had that same decal.
