Have to say, there sure are some ****ing idiots around here. I am not a JR fan, and I have never met Ron. I happened to be at Hampshire's when the motor was being put back together. You mean it got teched? It obviously did....and PASSED. I don't have a horse in this race, but have to say some of you conspiracy theorists are just plain idiots. Under an anonymous name, you're trying to convince the powers that be that an inspection THEY WITNESSED never happened? Or are you just trying to recruit more to your cause?
Now Geno......I am sure you're smiling ear to ear reading what I wrote. Don't go getting too happy.....since I am saying what I feel, I think your sarcasm, and arrogance is a big disservice to the Hammons racing team. Are you right some of the time? I am sure so....but the delivery sucks, and is a turn off. Am I calling you out for a fight? Nope.....so no need to jump on your box and want to go there.
Last....I cannot believe how many faceless internet heroes there are jumping on the 6 teams. What are you hoping to accomplish? If it is to drive a good owner out of the business, I'd guess you are probably close.....I sure wouldn't put up with all of this BS.

I stopped by hamps on a freaking thursday, and the motor was still being reassembled. You really think BOTH should have been torn down to have another in line to rebuild when it is scramble time to get the first one in before friday? Surely you have a little more sense than this. #47Posted 26 August 2009 - 06:51 PM
dirtracer48...only smiles i get are for the idiots that THINK they know...and i am here to say i will talk about anything they want to know....it's NOT about fighting!!!! reason I say not in pits, is b'cuz it's NOT going to be turned into an infraction against the race team...teams....so call or look me up...more than happy to answer ANY ?'s u may have....good luck to all!!!!

dirtracer48- If you spent half the time you did on the internet posting your thoughts about racing: AND actually working on your race car, you could have been racing back in april! good luck @ millstream for your first time out at the end of august.

in the dirt if you read the rules on engines for nra and sod you will see that the nra allows uscs ( air flow research heads ) and sod does not, that is what jr has on his car. he will run that engine at the canadian nationals like blaney did last year when he finished 4th and it passed tech. congrats jr on another great year !!!!!

You know....you're right. I could have been out in April, except for the fact that the cars, engines, and parts cost money. Sorry I don't make enough extra to get on the track soon enough to suit your needs. You do bring up a good point though - This is exactly why I am not pursuing any sponsors.....I'll race it when I feel like it, and when I have the dough without having to explain anything to anyone. If I get last in everything, so be it. Much more fun without other people thinking they have a stake in it, or some kind of opinion anyone else cares about. #56Posted 27 August 2009 - 09:37 PM
Tim......remind me at Findlay and I will give you a "SkinnyKennysPhotos" sticker to put on the car. Then you will look like you have a sponser. I only give out stickers (not $$) so you can have one if you need to cover up a scratch or dent or something.
However....if you would rather not; I won't be offended either.

Hey Ken! I'd be glad to put it on the car. I do have some sponsor names on the car already, but is mostly friends businesses etc. Hell, I'm not even bothering to put my own business name on it lol. Edited by Dirtracer48, 27 August 2009 - 10:19 PM. #58Posted 27 August 2009 - 10:18 PM
Ya know, against my better judgment I will respond. You're probably right....I am a huge fan who was dumb enough to spend a bunch of money to fulfill a dream I will most likely suck at. It's still going to be a TON of fun, regardless what the peanut gallery has to say. Come say hi.... #59Posted 28 August 2009 - 08:38 AM
Same crap different year wa-wa I can't beat them so there cheating. Learn how to set up a race car toads. There’s only a select few 360 teams that can make a car go on a track that might be getting dry or slicking off. Same guys that bitch about cheating bitch and wine when the track gets dusty and hard to hook up on. Both 6 cars made the show at Fremont when it was horribly slick .I guess the 1w(Paul Weaver) must really be cheating with that big bad 305...get over yourselves and go to work trying to beat those guys instead of whining about it on message boards.
Godd Luck to All
