Just wanted give our announcer Gerry "AK1" a thumbs up for the quick thinking during the" lights out" red flag. It was also a great way for the fans to learn the attitude of the drivers! Things like this should happen alot more then they do! Class act on your part!! Also a great call was made to grade the track, I believe that call saved afew of us from going over on our heads. I think we should have a 5 lap race with Gerry Keysor "AK1" VS Dean Miracle. I dont think you have to have a drivers license to race a car, sooooo no excuses lol

I honestly believe Gerry is a TOP NOTCH announcer!!

He works hard to involve the fans, the drivers, and the track sponsors along with the race car/race truck sponsors, in each night at the track.

He keeps the fans interested, and informed.

He helps put a face with a car/truck with the interviews in victory lane (and now during red flags ) which makes things more 'personal'.

Plus he always plugs the track sponsors, and he runs down the car/truck sponsors when he does the line ups....before it's so loud that you can't hear 'who is in what, and starting where'....

He is what a good announcer should be

You guys keep it up and Dean and Jane are gonna have to order me a bigger hat!!! With all sincerity, I thank you for all the kind things I've been hearing about my rookie announcing. I'm just a race fan who's been given a microphone, and I'm honestly having a blast! I hope that comes across every week to everyone. Besides, my job is easy. You guys and gals who pour your heart and soul into those racecars/trucks every week to entertain us are the ones who make the show. I don't know about a 5 lap grudge race with Dean. I'd hate to get fired for whuppin up on him!!!! LOL

When you have fun doing what your doing it tells the way you handle yourself, I was breaking out in a sweat watching Gerry running by me all the time. I would have to say the Gerry is having a blast doing what he is doing. yes it was cool during the break to hear from the drivers and their comments. But i vote for next yr a hole in the fence below the flagstand. Keep up the good work Gerry.

Again....Gerry found something at the track and in the racing community that he's really good at and we're lucky to have him. Away from the track he's a hoot also =)

Now that's a great idea. We could have one like at Hooters where the girls attach the order to it and they zip it back to the kitchen......or so I've heard that Hooters has one of those. In this case maybe Steph can zip gerry down to the winners circle and then Skinny Kenny can zip him back up.......LMAO

I would like to also thank you 2 special guys that donate thier time to wrp every week too.. that would be u skip and orge, u guys do a good job and are very dependable.... u guys rock!!!!!! thanks to skinny kenny for the awesome shots every race and to the safety crew and dean and everyone else in the tower to the concession stand.... wrp is a very nice place to come and race and meet friends too... GREAT JOB BOYS AND GIRLS
