Knowing beforehand that I will most likely be chastised for this post, I would like to express my concerns (as well as others) regarding a decision that was made last night during the non-wing sprint B-main. Brandon had a RR tire go flat during a lengthy caution flag period. Even to the point of the announcer having the opportunity to articulate on the situation for several laps. Realizing that those in control of the race were aware of this situation ... "I appreciate all the kind comments and constructive critisism (as posted under another topic). I take great pride in being the official starter of any race. I enjoy what I do. I apologise to anyone that feels I don't take my job serious. Appearently I did get your attention though so I'm not just another guy standing on a flagstand. Honestly I can't see what me "dancing" has to do with being serious. I think both Bridgit and I pay great attention to the entire field when the cars are on the track. I will be the first to admit that both of us have made mistakes. "Should we have thrown a certain flag?" At Waynesfield we have 1 worker in the infield, 1 worker in turn 4, and the scorers watching over the entire field. We don't have 3-4 safety workers at all 4 corners to alert us of any situations on the track. Yet, we are pretty quick to warn the field of any danger. I want to thank EVERYONE for supporting Waynesfield. Even those that don't enjoy me. I hope they enjoy the show that the rest of the staff and the racers put on. Thanks again for the compliments. Your friendly neighborhood flagman," Maybe you need 3-4 safety workers .... "we are pretty quick to warn the field of any danger" ????? ... Brandon did a great job maintaining an undrivable (at speed) race car. Thankfully, no one behind this crippled car was involved in a mishap ... this time... Respectfully submitted, Chris Simon Non-wing sprint cars #22, #23, and #24 ................................................. this shows what im talkin bout!!!!

master of all is one of those people that like to think he knows everything and is gods gift to racing but the fact is he has to somehow be related to skinny kenny because he refuses to detach that umbilical cord to waynesfield. If he thinks that waynesfield is great then maybe he loves flagmen that refuse to help out the drivers. Brandons tire was flat and it was a horrible decision to throw that green flag.

If it were flat, he should have been told over the raceceiver, one of his teams signaling him, or by a track worker.....or black flagged. Was it flat or really low? That's his decision to stay out or pull in. Blaming the flagman for having some color???? Big deal, it's interesting and fun to watch whether you like it or not. The solution is simple, if you don't like it don't come back. Waynesfield is one of Ohio's best kept secrets, and will continue to grow. Don't change a thing (especially any more division changes)....har har.

the problem is that wether anyone comes back or not it cud have caused a wreck.....wud u have liked to be behind him and the flagman didnt black flag him and all of a sudden he wrecks taking u with him.....no!!!!! thats money and time working on those cars and money people dont wanna spend and it is up to the flag man he controls the race he shud have not did that....for the racers out there risking arm limb and money....this dirt48racer thinks its not a big deal to have a wreck and tear up cars and (knock on wood) cause someone injury is the reason y stupid people exsist......i wish u wud have been behind him and somthin happen and u watched 10 to 20 thousand dollars go down the drain...then maybe...u wud see what a big deal it is.....

its pretty sad that all they are concerned with is wether they are wrong or right an not that the drivers are safe......shows how this world is starting to end up......no regard to the fact that at anypoint someone could get hurt....and yet these people dont care......i resign this concern with hopes that someone will realize how important this is.....and that just because one or 2 people complain about doesnt mean theres no more out there with the same concerns....and for you guys that would rather stickup or whatever u call it...and say that im dogging a track.....get facts straight im dogging one person.....not the track.....sry for the racers that have no support for their safety on here

it was completely flat and his team was trying to tell him in turn 4 but most drivers are very focused while leading a bmain knowing that its their last chance to get into the A main. If you werent there then dont get on here running your mouth about stuff you didnt see. Now i have been to a million races (and im sure you have to) and everyone knows that the flagman runs the show he shouldnt have thrown the green knowing the leader was riding around on his rim give me a break man.

now this isnt meant to piss you off or offend you im just saying if you werent there man dont get on here and run ur mouth about stuff u didnt see. I like waynesfield but the flagman needs changed

As for newracer i completely agree the safety of the drivers is way more important than the entertainment

Newracer, If you ever go to Knoxville, Iowa, I invite you to watch perhaps the best flag men in the country, Doug Clark. If you don't like Jeremy being animated in the stand, then Doug will really piss you off. By the way, Doug has flagged the biggest sprint car event in the world, the Knoxville Nationals, for several years(20+ I believe). Jeremy and Bridgit are 2 of the finest flaggers in our area, if not in the country. With that said, why are you watching the flagman instead of the racing?

He keeps talking about the flagmans "booty shaking". Apparently he was there checking him out! Who cares what the flagger does, watch the race....who takes video of the flagger anyways? Do you have that video on lazer-disc? My VCR is broken!

The flagman at Volusia does the same thing. He is also one of the best in the business. Jeremy does a great job. Once again, go get drunk and watch the prelude newracer 20, you are still a joke.
