If you will look closely, you will see there are alot of questions viewed and no or just a few answers. Don't be offended by it. Just be patient. I asked a ? and 207 have viewed and no answer yet. But I am not angry by it at all. It just means the right person to answer it has not viewed it or had the time to answer yet.this is amazing. i ask a simple question about the stock car schedule. 114 people have viewed it and i couldnt get one single answer to my question. all the helpful info that gets passed along on here must have hovered right passed me. maybe geezooie is right about this place.

The wonderful promoter everyone sticks up for decided that we (the stock car guys) weren`t making him enough money so he totally cut us from the schedule, along with other shows, BUT that`s ok, from what i`ve been told the only other thing that`s going to be cut is him.this is amazing. i ask a simple question about the stock car schedule. 114 people have viewed it and i couldnt get one single answer to my question. all the helpful info that gets passed along on here must have hovered right passed me. maybe geezooie is right about this place.

Hey dan, don't forget a few stops in Findlay at a certian dirt track also!As Pete said, our promoter decided that the stock class wasn't working the "way it currenty is" and until he can make some changes there are removed from the current schedule. They say they have supported WRP all along but when only 13 and 14 show up it makes it hard to keep running them the way they currently are. When only a few show up like that generally you only get one or two cars that are the top of the point standings at other tracks and it's not fun to watch a two car race.
Now that being said, if there is some reform in the class next season then maybe there may be some reconsideration.
And Pete......sorry Dean isn't going anywhere but WRP and Florida in the spring to run those shows. He is here long term.

i can remember watching large stock car classes less than 5 years ago. when all the ownership issues come about the stock car class seemed to get shit on. if i were a stock car recer i would find it hard to commit to a track that is goin to cut your schedule year to year.
It's not low counts at just WRP...this class has been low everywhere this year. There are many reasons why but I'm sure it will rise again. I just don't think it will rise in it's current state, but we'll see.

fx, sounds like you're being lied to. Next years schedule is already being worked on. From what I've been able to squeeze out of a little birdy, I think Waynesfield is gonna be the place to be on Saturday nights in 2010.The wonderful promoter everyone sticks up for decided that we (the stock car guys) weren`t making him enough money so he totally cut us from the schedule, along with other shows, BUT that`s ok, from what i`ve been told the only other thing that`s going to be cut is him.
As far as the stock cars go, unfortunately they're a dying breed. It used to be a guy with some know-how could build or even buy a used car and compete without breaking the bank, but now....$10000-$15000 motors for what? 400 to win? You might as well get you a modified. If you don't want to go open wheel, get you an S-10 or something like that and run the trucks at the 'field. From the rumblings I've been hearing, there are some other tracks around the state that are very seriously looking at Waynesfield's truck class as their entry level class. Wouldn't mind seeing a Fri, Sat, Sun locally for those guys to run. Just my 2 cents.

Dean gave the stock cars a shot they did not even race them at Waynesfield in 2008 . At least he gave you a change looks to me like you are blamimg the wrong person. Why don't you blame yourselves that where the blame lies
