I talked with Cody Hewitt at Eldora Sunday night, he said Jack let him run the 2 seater....LOL He also said he is waiting "for dads approval" to start racing again. I don't know how much money Luke Hall won at Waynesfield Sat. night, but I would imagine he will end up spending all his winnings on repairs.....he got into the turn 1-2 wall, and dumped it at Eldora.

if luke hall is the car that rolled in qual. then i garuntee all his winnings going to a new car. the wreck in qual. was WOW. front end just broke and destroyed as down tubes werent atteached at front any longer and appeared that right side halo was bent down. he smacked wall with RR then RF and climbed to roll a minimum of 6 times from top to the bottom of trac in turn 1. once out of car he told safety crew he was OK but definetly looked shakin.

Yep, it was Luke that got upside down qualifying. It looked like he was just going to slap the wall with the RR, but when the RF got sucked in he was 'gone'!!

There was so many people around the car when Bob brought it back to the trailer (plus the wrecker was blocking the angle I would have been able to see from) that I couldn't see how bad the car was torn up.
