Montpelier Motor Speedway will host their final regular program of the season this Saturday October 3rd. UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks (Eldora/Lima/UMP rules), Thundercars, and Mod-lites will be part of the racing action. Should be a great show as it has been all year. With a lot of other tracks done for the season, there should be some new cars there also.
Also, don't forget the last race of this season on Halloween, the 4th annual Monster Mash. This is one of the last races in the midwest this season and has been a blast every year.

Great racing tonight on the fastest track I have seen all season. Track prep was very good, especially considering the amount of rain and overcast conditions in recent days. A couple dips going into 1, but smooth and a big cushion everywhere else. Some excellent cars in the modifieds again this week. The only bad news was that Davey Gant is planning to retire at the end of the season. He finished 3rd tonight, and it's always been good to see him come race at Montpelier.

Modifieds (34 cars) - Todd Sherman
Street Stocks (15 cars) - Bill Lewis
Thundercars (8 cars) - Ron Flaugh
Mod-Lites (8 cars) - Tim Vangundy
The Halloween Monster Mash should be a great show. Hopefully they will have late models along with the Mods, Stocks, and Thundercars. Don't tear down those cars for the winter yet.

They are not racing Saturday October 10th. Some people were talking about it but it was never on the schedule and I think they decided against it with the nationals at Eldora. The next and final race of the season is the Monster Mash on Halloween.
