The Fall Swap Meet at the Allen County Fairgrounds on October 17th has been canceled. My father, Rollie Rinaldi puts this show on. On September 29th he had to have his right leg amputated above the knee. He is still in the hospital and is working hard in rehab therapy. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Toni

Thank you Skip. He is going to be allowed to get out of the hospital for a few hours tomorrow so that he can go to the racing banquet. He is looking very forward to it.

He is pretty tough Skip, but this is really getting him down. He won't be able to make the banquet tonight as he isn't feeling well.... I know he is very disappointed that he can't go. I know if any of his racing friends would like to visit him he would love to see them.

My wife and I stopped up and visited him last night. He was happy to have some racing friends stop by and visit, he told some racing stories. We benched raced for about an hour LoL! He was looking forward to the banquet tonight, I sure wish he could have made it. I dropped him off a couple racing mags and a hot rod mag, he will probably be teaching Mario a thing on 2 on building them fast! Well get well soon Rollie!!!!!

He is at St Ritas in Lima. 7th Floor rehab/therapy area (wing 7E) It might be room 7E-47. I'm sure he is in wing 7E but I'm not for sure of the room #. NOTE...his given name is actually Anthony(not Rollie) but the lady that was at the info desk at the main door must of been asked about Rollie plenty of times. I asked for Rollie Rinaldi's room, then I said wait...Anthony Rinaldi and the lady said yea I know. The board on his room door has Anthony written on it real big. I was there Thursday evening and he was kinda down but you could easily see the gloomy weather thru his window. He is just plane sick of being stuck in that hospital. He was in there for 16 days, then out a week or more, and now has been back in going on another month straight. He is hoping to get out before next weekend. I felt bad because I could only visit with him about a half hour or less. But I had already spent over 3 hours with my son in the ER.
