I bought a copy at the Readmore Hallmark store on Saturday Night. It's on Elm Street in Lima across from Wine Sellers about 1/2 mile west of the American Mall. I know it is a ways from you but you can ask Randy Wagner to grab you a copy. It is only 10 minutes from his house. It is Jan 06 Stock Car Racing with a purple mod on the cover. Cover price is $4.99. stockcarracing.com. It is a really nice mag and the little 1 page story about Waynesfield Bomber Trucks has a couple pics written by Bill Holder.

Thanks Kenny. I picked up my copy at lunch today. That's good to see Waynesfield get some airtime. It would really be nice to see another track or two pick up this class. I really wouldn't mind running Lima a couple of times if they would try it out.

Ogre the trucks at Lima would last about 3 laps and all the fenders and doors would fall off, the bed would be first on the first lap. Unless the new prep guy is what everyone says he is. LOL I hope they can turn Lima around this year, like racing the mod there but will go elsewhere until they do. Mark Breininger promoter from Stateline Speedway near Edon Oh came down a little over a month ago to look at our truck and wanted us to bring it their last night of racing to run around their track. We already had it tore down for the winter so we couldn't. I called him later and asked him what they were up to and he said they were thinking of adding the trucks on Friday nights to run with the Mini Sprints. He said he had about 5-6 guys that said they would build trucks if they added them. The track is a 1/5 mi but they were considering inlarging it to 1/4 and making the kart track a little smaller and inside the big track. Also sounds like there are going the same direction as Waynesfield as far as lights and bleachers they just bought from a sports statium that their putting up for next year to replace what they had. Would be great if they would get something going and could have a double race with Waynesfield as they do with the Karts with the Northern Nationals. Last I talked to Mark it was still up in the air but it would be great to have another track around to play on once in a while.

racer50....yea you're correct based on last seasons Limaland conditions but hopefully they can turn things around.....we'll see. That sounds great about the other track, I would be interested in trying it out also with you guys. I like racing with you guys and you're a good bunch of people! We too have the truck totally apart. We have a few things that we need to improve upon and hopefully we are doing the right things. Hey you can contact me anytime that you ever need anything at danny.kelly@hitmet.com. Are you guys still building another truck or two? I'll talk to you later.

So where is Edon? Did they run minisprints last year? Or has it only been a kart place? I never heard any of the 600cc minisprint guys talk about it. Do they have a photographer?????

edon is clear up in the NW corner of the state, easy to get to the track, the minisprints they run up there are mostly sidewinders, pretty decent show and everybody was really nice when the boy ran his kart up there. i think it would be great for you guys with trucks to have another place to run, but skip has a good point, that area has quite a few tracks already, might be tough to get a crowd.

i think i heard someone saying there was one popping up over around palastine ind,i ran a kart one time back in the early 70,s it was a small asphalt oval, but this dirt track i saw some info on was suppose to be like 2 or 3 dirt tracks inside one another, they were gonna run a little bit of everything, someone could run on sunday night since findlay will never open , they used to have a big crowd on sundays years ago.

LOL....That's great. I like racing with you guys. Derrick and Darren both drive really clean and I respect them both. This is that way that racing should be.......people helping others out when needed. We actually have the body going back on ours now. I just hope the changes that we've made didn't put it in left field.
