I was changing the oil in my truck a week ago and noticed half my oil pan had a coating of oil on it. Further inspection revealed the leak to be from the oil pan gasket and I noticed the second bolt from the front, driver side, had fallen off. How should I avoid this?

Do you realize how much work it is to drop the oil pan?
