Any news on a schedule, I hope there running Latemodels more this Year I'm gettin antsy.....

I haven't seen a schedule yet. I did see a mini sprint series race scheduled for Montpelier in May but other than that I haven't seen anything. It would be nice to see some more late model races in 2010.

It will probably be sometime late March before you see anything. It's been like that for a long time. hope it changes. we like to race at the "city of BIG indian" LOL Had lots of good mod shows in 09. Hope it continues.

Unfortunately you are right that it has been late March at the earliest that you see a schedule for Montpelier in recent years. That has largely been because the track didn't have a promotor until early March, but this year that is different. If we get one by February I'll be satisfied. If we get one with late models I'll be aroused.

I've always thought it would be cool, if Montpelier ever had a "big" race, to have the trophy be a much smaller version of the indian. It would be like the winner of the Nationwide race at Nashville getting the guitar. You would always know exactly where you won it, and it would be unique.

That would rule Hoosier!! What a great idea. You should talk to them about it, really!!! It's a great little track. We've raced out stock car and now the mod for 5 or 6 years now. And to win a BIG INDIAN trophy would be cool.
