I apologize to everyone for any confusion, but I posted the wrong dates for opening weekend. It will be April 17-18th and classes will be as follows: Sat April 17th - Lee's Hydraulics Non Wing Sprints, Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini-Sprints, Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks, and JR and Sons Service Center Compacts Sun April 18th - UMP Late Models, Post Agri-Service UMP Modifieds, Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks, and JR and Sons Service Center Compacts Again I apologize for any confusion I may have caused by posting the wrong dates. I will update the website and facebook page immediately as well. The full schedule is very close to being released with tons of great racing planned in 2010. Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 7th, which will be the 2nd Annual Jack Hewitt Classic. Can't wait to see everyone back at the 'field in 2010!!! Gerry

I sure hope we see some 360,s on the schedule, Then with fremont saying the stocks can run with their trucks wonder if we will see any stocks on it to?? I think thats what they posted on here that the stocks can run against their trucks. Just my 2 cents worth a sat and sunday show is gona make it hard on the fans. I hope im wrong.

Are you serious? I screwed up and posted the wrong dates. The full schedule isn't even posted yet. I merely tried to give everyone something to look forward to. I apologized and explained, isn't that enough for you? <_<

Skip, I do know that there are some 360 shows on the schedule, but how many, I don't know.
As far as stock cars, don't hold your breath.
A 2 day show is the same way WRP opened the season last year and I heard that it was a pretty good weekend. I wasn't working at the track yet, so I'll have to take everyone elses word for it.

Don't start. The schedule hasn't even been released. I posted dates that I understood as being opening weekend, and I was wrong. The correct dates have been posted as a courtesy to ALL, even the haters.

hey ak1,i was standing with a friend of mine about a month ago talking to dean and stood right there listening and dean said what the opening dates was going to be,changed already???same old sh*t as last year, plus being a winged fan more then a non wing fan, dean also said opening weekend would be same as last year with the 360 sprints on opening day???? i see that is not true i guess either? changed again? i feel sorry for some of these track sponsers, you can't keep changing and adding things!!!! as being a fan you do not know whats racing when, i feel sorry for the racers trying to determine where to go and race and put a schedule together plus telling a sponsor you will be there and you get booted off the schedule, great to see the mini's back, fun to watch and plus a great feeder class i think, dean should run the same classes as lima does and build a fan base and car count, just my opinion, lima's looking better all the time!!!

Now you are making things up. The tentative opening weekend dates are what I originally posted and those are the dates that Dean and and I had discussed at the banquet in November. I did not get 100% clarification before I posted them and I apologized for it. There was NEVER any discussion that I have ever been aware of that included the 360's for opening weekend in 2010. Again if you want to bad mouth anyone, I'm the one who made the mistake.

There has not been a schedule released so how can it change?

Hey guys, give AK1 a break, like he said, it was a misunderstanding. He's not the one making the schedule up. Dean is the one to talk to. And he always says to come to him if theres's a problem rather than take it to someone else.

It is my understanding that there is around 18 dates for the modifieds in 2010 at WRP. Obviously since I do not have a full schedule in front of me, that number could be a little higher or lower by the time it's finalized.

Bottom line. There has never been any plan to have the 360s opening weekend. It has always been planned to be Late Models and Non Wing Sprints since the tentative schedule was first shown to me in November at the banquet. I'm sorry if you or your friend misunderstood, and I hope to see you at Waynesfield Raceway Park in 2010.

Just my 2 cents worth i think the Winged and non wing should be the headliners most of the time. Then throw in the latemodels.
