Terry Hull blew a motor, Sherman flipped up onto the wall, Jon led the 1st 2 laps and then ran 2nd until he blew a tire. Babcock and Tony Anderson finished like 6th & 7th in the same Bmain. Dad said Sherman's car might be destroyed the way it looked. A guy named Hess from Pennsylvania passed Henry for the lead and went on to win the feature. The 2 college student mod drivers didn't make the Amain either. This is what my dad just called to tell me. He was in the grandstands so he doesn't know for sure that Sherman's car is total junk or the exact problem of Hull. That is just what it looked like to him. But those eyes have been watching races for over 50 years.

Dad just called and said they fixed Hull and even had Sherman back together after needing 2 wreckers to get it off the track last night. But...neither was fast enough to make the feature tonight. Henry made the feature tonight but I think he was the only local. It was really hard to hear everything he said. The announcer was drownding him out. As of 10:00 all that was left was the 2 Amains for tonight. They had 3 mod Bmains. I'm suprised to hear Hull stopped racing last night because of a brake line. Dad and all the other boards I looked at said the track was so fast last night the sprints ran flat footed without ever lifting.

Steve Schnapf also made the feature by winning his heat, UNOH driver David Reutimann also made the feature by finishing second behind Schnapf

Yes Reutimann & Schnapf also made the feature. Tonight was won by a guy who has a mod win at Waynesfield. David McWilliams (Audie's son) is from southern Ohio. I think he lives around Cinci. And I guess Terry Hull was fastest qualifier last night. Henry finished somewhere around 8th-10th place. Dad isn't exactly sure because the group of cars Jon was in were doing alot of position swapping during the last couple of laps. And the weather was much warmer tonight but they are calling for rain most of the day Friday.

I thought they were father/son. I just assumed that because Audie looks 25 years older than Dave. I knew they were related when Dave ran Waynesfield one night and I went to his pit after the races and he was talking to Audie on his cell phone. I haven't met Audie face to face but I have seen his pic in Mid American and it looked to me like he was alot older than Dave. I don't mean to insult him, it might just have been a not good photo.

I believe David's father is a very well known late model driver from the northern Kentucky area Chuck McWilliams.

I know David a little bit, talked to him after he won the feature thurs. he was pretty happy, the unoh student that won his heat thurs did real well also with dave reutiman running second behind him and Boyer was running third and not very close to first an second, they were actually pulling away from him I thought.
