Given the fact that waynesfield is not running stock cars this year I think I am going to try Eldora. I have never raced before and was wondering what rear gear some guys are running and what kind of rpm's you are turning????

I haven't raced before so not sure on 1/4 mile track. I built a 383 for the car so..... I know alot of guys have bigger motors than that.

Actually pickle you would be surprized at how many folks are running 383's. Eladora is a whole new ball-game compared to the 1/4 and 1/3 mile tracks. Pull your belts tight!! And build a safe racecar to begin with. Or as safe as a racecar can be. How are you doing Dr. Cool? Find any work yet? We just got back on 40 after the 1st of Jan.
