Is anyone suprised. Im tired of them cancelling over a few sprinkles. If you dont want to race then sell the track to someone that does. Whoever makes the calls is a JOKE. :o

This is just getting to be dumb. They cancelled it 5 hrs before the races even start plus it was just sprinkles. Right now it is perfect racing conditions. Lets race i agree if you don't want to race sell the track.

Not sticking up for them but i would rather see a call like this being made then to have what happened at Eldora a week ago with a whole crowd being mad and having to go home. I for one work 3rd shift, after hearing the forecast i had no plans on even getting up early enought to make it to the races. Lima has some guys who travel a ways to get to lima. I would hate to see some one make a 3hr trip only to be called off at the last minute. Then to you have the wind plus a cold night and the chance of a track freezing later in the night and having to call the races off in the middle of the show. D**** if you do d**** if you dont. A lot has to be looked at before making a call. Its to easy after a call has been made, and it turns out to be wrong, to sit back and say what a bunch off dummys. I would have to say i made the right call.

Well at 5am my scanner was saying showers in the am, thunderstorms in the afternoon and showers in the pm 80% chance of rain. Then at 9am weather channel was saying the same thing. Thats when i said good night and had plans not to worry about getting up. To me i dont think i could enjoy a race sitting in the wind and cold. We will have plenty of nice weather and some enjoyable racing in the future. I know if WRP runs sat and sunday night i will have to dress warm. Dont mean to ruffle any feathers , just hope to see some better weather in the future.

Attica ran, and so did Gas city, didn't they all have to deal with the same weather? Maybe we could all start going to these tracks?

All of you posting do not go back far enought to know that i did do a lot a trash talking about lima and their racing surface. No one is the minority or kissing up call me what you want, some only show up when they dislike some thing and have to complain about it.You have your right to your opinion. fact being there was no racing so what no racing. They called it early enought that some could of went some where else if they wanted to race or see some racing.I see no problem with that. I did hear that waynesfield called off their kart races friday night because of to much water in the field. i hope we can get some racing in sat and sunday night no matter where you choose to go. I do know one thing you had better dress warm because the cold does tend to keep some people home.

Just my opinion, and I seldom go to Lima because I work 2nd shift. I for one think the call may have been a little pre-mature. But www.weather.com was predicting rain from approx. 2:00 to 5:00. If it did rain, it would been a losing situation for the track, and racers. Pulling fuel, possible overnite stays, etc. For that reason the call was correct. So, take it easy and don't blow a gasket, there's racing tonite and tomorrow at Waynes-world and Eldora tonite. So go racing and get over it.
