Montpelier is still on as of right now. They updated the website last week when they cancelled so maybe check there this afternoon to make sure. Should be quite a few cars if they do race with most other tracks cancelling.

Hey Hoosier, will you keep us abreast of when we will get to finish our races from last night at Mt.P.? As you know they canceled before the B's were run. Can you find out when the wrist bands are good for? Doc

Modifieds will make up their feature next week, May 15. They were past halfway in the B-Main so they went ahead and took the top 4 to the feature for next week. I don't think they are taking wrist bands since the only thing left was the features. Its one of those weather situations where the promotor doesn't have a good option. Features for the other 3 regular classes will probably be made up May 22nd and May 29th. The TQ Midgets are back May 22nd so they will make theirs up that night.

That's just not right. None of the features were run, not all b's were run, not to mention the fans. We pulled from Dayton, Oh. and we saw a mod that came fro Illinois. So we gotta pay to race a feature we already paid for??

Like I said, its a no win situation for the promotor. What would you suggest doing instead? The track policy is the same as Gas City, Kokomo, Lima, and Eldora. They had 3 laps left of the B-Main, so it was declared complete. None of the other classes had a B-Main to run so the only thing left was the feature. It would cost you just as much money to run another complete program when you can just run the features next week and everybody will get their money. You guys will still get your money for Saturday when the feature is made up. Harold isn't trying to screw anybody out of their money. If that were the case, he wouldn't have lost as much as he did last year. I don't work for the track, I just talk to some of the officials and do what I can to help my favorite track grow. I hope you guys understand and come back this Saturday.

Yeah you're right. It will just be an extra A main. Ya still gotta pay for the next set of races anyway. Hope the rain stays away. It's raining cats, dogs skunks, mice, cows and any other animal you can think of here in Troy,Ohio. LMAO. Maybe by Saturday the 15th it will get better.

I hope so. I'm tired of this cold, rainy, depressing weather that seems to show up every time there's a chance for racing. I know some guys will probably go to Eldora Saturday, and that's fine. It should still be a good show with some great cars at Montpelier. I know that's one of Tony Anderson's favorite races at Eldora, so I'm curious to see where he goes.
