Great night at the races!!

There were no 'gimmies', everybody had to -race hard- for each and every car/truck they passed, in all 4 classes

As always, nice to see lots of cars in the pits. AND, it was great to see more people in the stands!! Hopefully those folks liked what they saw, and they come back.....bringing some friends with them :D

Gerry, they really need to make a hole in the wall/fence, for you to go through on the frontstretch B)

Quick shout out to Matt Twining and his driving in the Modified. I would've never know that was your first time & first lap in a modified ever. I'm sure it will take some getting used to but I think you would catch on really quick! I also want to say I hope Tim Dick is feeling ok today....... that was a nasty tumble down the front stretch. Prior to that you was running really great. Hope you're able to get it back together soon so we can see your progress. What else can I say about Gabe Twining.....other than I know where your at right now with the bad luck. It stinks but I admire you and your family for how well you guys handle adversity. You are the most outgoing and frinedliest bunh in the pits and I don't know how anyone couldn't get along with you all. Chriss Hicks........you are looking very tough this season and I think you're going to be tough to beat. I think Mike also did a very nice job of recovering after a rough start. Make sure to take your mom & dad out for dinner tonight to celebrate their anniversary.

Last night i would have to say was the first decent night we have had for racing not being cold.

As far as fans, those were all racing fans.

It didnt have any thing to do with P&G , it was nice of them to give away the items but Dean said he gave away a lot a pass,s to them and only 4 people showed up.
Lets just hope those 4 people liked what they saw and pass the word along to others that they liked what they saw and tell more to come along next week.

Thank you all for the comments, but the real thanks goes out to Jerry Butler. He gave me a chance in a brand new mod that he hadn't really shook down yet. It had some bugs but really has some great power in it, I think the 1x mod could really come on this season. All his crew worked really hard to help me out, work on the car and build some confidence in the driver. Too bad Gabe had more trouble and I broke right front shock mount in the trucks, we could have really diced it up, but hey, That's Racing!

Yea Matt, you said something right there that should be said more often. I know that I always say your family is a really nice family but the Butlers are awesome too. The Butlers are super nice people and their entire crew is awesome. I know Jerry races on a tight budget but he gives it 100% everytime they are there. His family cheers him just as hard if he's in 1st or last..........they just take pride in him. Jerry....here's to you! We love the fact that you've chosen to race weekly at WRP. You and the Twinings are the types of families that all tracks should have. Thank You!

Tim: Nice to see that you are OK!

Did 2 of your radius rods break going into 3??

You had been running low/mid track, and when you went into 3 on the last lap, it looked like the car didn't want to turn, you ran high through 3&4, then of course coming off of 4 the car didn't turn until the guardrail :(

While they were taking care of your car on the frontstretch, I saw one of the push trucks go to the high side of 3, and pick up 2 things about 50' apart that looked like radius rods.

Hey need for speed I'm not for sure if anything broke. I enter a little higher than I had been so I'm thinking driver error
