Waynesfield, OH
When the National Racing Alliance 360 Sprint Invaders come to Waynesfield Raceway Park this Saturday May 29th, they will now be racing for $2000 to win in the 1st Annual Memorial Classic, thanks to the efforts of track promoter Dean Miracle and newly acquired sponsorship from Block Insurance Agency in Waynesfield, Ohio. In addition, purses are increased for the Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini-Sprints, Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks and the JR and Sons Service Center Compacts.
The NRA 360s will invade WRP for their only scheduled visit in 2010 this Saturday night with what should be a great field of cars. Expected to appear include 2009 NRA Champion, JR Stewart, also 2009 Ohio Cycleworx 360 Sprints WRP Track Champion“Mr. Excitement” Tim Allison, Luke Hall, Mike Dussel, Dennis Yoakum and many more racing for the top prize of $2000 to win.
In addition to the NRA 360s, the Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini-Sprints will see an increase in prize money, with the winner picking up $400 to win. The Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks will race for $250 to win, and the JR and Sons Service Center Compacts will compete for $125 to win.
Pit gates open at 4PM, Grandstand gates open at 5PM, Hot laps at 6:15PM, Racing at 7PM. General admission for this big event is $15 for ages 16 and up, $6 for ages 11 to 15, and kids 10 and under get in FREE. Pit Passes will be $28.
A big thank you goes out to Block Insurance Agency in Waynesfield, Ohio for making this event possible.

sounds like a great night (and weekend) of racing in the area. Good to see the payout raised in all classes with only a minimal increase at the gate. Hopefully we will see a good car count in all classes and a good crowd in the stands like last week.

I will be at all 3 races this weekend. And i am sure glad to see WRP increase the payout for every division for this weekend. And im not trying to criticize anyone here but i was looking at the ticket prices for the whole weekend and laughed because WRP and LMP are the same while Eldoras is actually cheaper. I just found that funny not knocking any track or anyone just found it funny. And im talking pitside

Look at the companies/products on the billboards down the backstretch at Eldora, and think about how many $$ changed hands for those to be there..................
Tony could afford to let everybody in for free with that money. That right there is the biggest difference between the 3 tracks....not to mention the deep pockets that Tony has anyhow.
Not knocking on him, everyone is free to make as much money as they can, but more money makes some things in life easier. Just a fact.
Now then, I hope you enjoy your 3 nights of racing just the same.
